Good one. I would've done more - I would've gone over there, shook his hand and said "Why the **** did you go to Fr0d when you were doing so well at Holden, you dick head?" or something like that.

Skaife... Well, what can I say...

I reckon they should of done abit more to the 25th anniversary cause its just and exec, with wheels, leather steering wheel and gear nob and hand brake.

May I ask two questions please......................

Q1-

What's the difference between the Exectuive & Acclaim?

Q2-

What's the difference between the Berlina & Calais?

Thanks,

TF:)

EDIT: Whoops! Used the wrong nick, sorry:banghead:

acclaim is surpose to be a but more luxury then the exec, and the calais is no more luxury and sporter then the berlina.

I think they should give the monaro a proper facelift.

(Example: VYII Calais front & rear)

i heard that the series III is the last monaro, thats why they hadnt changed the the shape, im not sure if its true or not.

btw, is Holden/HSV going to churn out a Convertible & T-top version of the Monaro & Coupe GTO/GTS?

That would be

I heard it was surpose to be the concept at last years motorshow but it neva was.

Holden did do a convertable concept back in the 90s. Based on the VN Commodore I think

Nah, that'd make the Monaro a two-door Commodore. Holden should play with new designs, and get off the two-door Commodore basis for the Monaro.

Yeah, it is in one of my HSV books. At the moment, I am moving all my stuff to my grandmas as we are moving house and Im storing some stuff there and that book is there. When I do get it, Ill scan it on, hopefully within a week.

Theres this VN Calais for sale that Im looking into. 140,000km leather, I dunno if its a 6 or 8 but I dont really care. I drove past it and the body is a bit of a wreck. Probably wont get it but my mum and I are trying to look at it tomorrow.

I dunno why, but I like the VN Calais (like, the roughest ****ing engine (V6) Ive experienced) and SS the best, along with the VS ones too.

Properly built, the VN is a screamer. I know a guy who used to own one - gun-metal grey with body-kit - including big-arse front and rear spoilers - and it had the stock engine. Looked a treat.

my next dorr neighbor has 1 just like that......well same colour and stuff
