That's combination of ILMC and ALMS, correct? Or are they all racing in the same division next year?

I´d say it´s speculation from his part.

These are so far the P1 entries for the WEC:
Audi Sport ..... Audi R18+
Audi Sport ..... Audi R18+
Peugeot Sport ..... 908
Peugeot Sport ..... 908
Toyota ..... Toyota
Toyota ..... Toyota
Strakka Racing ..... HPD-03A
Rebellion Racing ..... Lola-Toyota
Rebellion Racing ..... Lola/Toyota
Team Pescarolo ..... Pescarolo
Oak Racing ..... Pescarolo
Oak Racing ..... Pescarolo

These are ALMS:
Cytosport HPD ARX-03a
Dyson Racing Lola B09/80
Dyson Racing Lola B09/60
Dyson/Oryx Racing Lola B09/80

Nothing yet from the renamed ELMS. ILMC has of course been replaced by the WEC.
Oh, must ad, it was decided at the world motorsport council that teams may run a third car at Le Mans, as their own car.

Toyota has signed Alex Wurz, Nico Lapierre (both good) and, oh dear, Kazuki Nakajima for it's 2012 LMP1 programme. I know KN is a Toyota driver and all and they want to support a Japanes driver, but couldn't they find a good Japanese driver? All Kazuki will do is crash the car like he did in F1.
I know this is a month old, but Nico Lapierre is "good" and Nakajima is "oh dear"? Based on what? When they were teammates in GP2, a rookie Kazuki beat Lapierre (in his third GP2 season) convincingly.

Nakajima was out of his depth in F1 and was beaten by Nico Rosberg, but Rosberg would demolish any driver on the WEC grid (in F1) so it's a moot point. Kazuki did fine to finish 2nd in Formula Nippon this year and will be a good addition to Toyota's Lemans effort.

Muscle Milk have already bought ARXs from HPD iirc (atleast one). Don't have the link handy sorry as I'm on my phone but search up the ALMS or Speed sites.

Either:
1. Buy a new chassis+engine.
2. Attempt to adapt the Lola to a new engine.
3. Not take up the Le Mans entry.

I assumed that... I was hoping for something with a bit more information/speculation

Option 2 is impossible anyway....they don't own the Aston-Lola, only leased it for the season.

Check out our most recent note with some of our plans for 2012. We're adding a LMPC Program for Memo Gidley and Mike Guasch... our P1 program will be announced in the weeks to come.
At least they seem to have a P1 program.

There's no factual source behind this. Anyone can post on the Internet can't they...hypocrisy?

I said why I didn't post a source and where to look for the facts, stop picking for a fight because you're not going to get what you're after.

As mentioned before Muscle Milk hasn't announced their P1 programme yet, but I have also heard several rumors of a HPD ARX-03a.

well thats not my point. Yes I knew in advance that Muscle Milk is rumoured to be getting the HPD...

But no where on the internet whether that be speed, mulssane, dagy's, etc do we have actual confirmation that Muscle Milk and Pickett have purchased the HPD. And thats what you stated. You said they purchased -

when in fact it is Not confirmed. Its very simple.

Rumour not fact. Im not suggesting that you did not include a source(you adressed this by saying check speed tv). Im saying that those sources do not say what you are claiming.

The AUP states correct use of punctuation, grammar and spelling does it not? Adding to that can we all please use Le Mans as it is the correct spelling of the place where the race takes place, not Lemans, LeMans or lemans or whatever else comes up....

I guess I'm wrong in saying the articles are out there..the announcement is to be made soon but from what I'm hearing it will be HPD/Honda in 2012 for ALMS P1 and Le Mans.

Does anyone know what happened to the Highcroft chassis that came second at Sebring last year? Was it theirs? Did they sell it? Such a waste, that car could've been easily the ALMS 2011 champion.

If everyone wants to get picky the t should be capitalized.

You should find something better to invest your time in because there are multiple AUP violations in terms of spelling in this thread that you have failed to systematically quote and scold except for mine. That speaks volumes doesn't it.

As far as I have heard it was wrapped up and sent to Honda in Japan to be stored, however what I'm lead to believe is it is at Wirth and will either be a new car (rebuilt from the tub up) for Strakka or is gathering dust there.

Some small body changes on the new audi for 2012 (front fenders dont arc as high), also rumored to be hybrid.

No batteries, just a flywheel? Cool. I knew Peugeot played with the Hybrid thing a couple years ago, will they bring it now with Audi (Likely) and Toyota stepping up to the Hybrid challenge?

Peugeot never 'played' with the hybrid 908, the simply built a hybrid version and that was that. Since then they have built and tested the Hybrid4 however...

I'm glad to finally see a hybrid version of the R18 and it will be interesting to see how the diesel flywheel hybrid goes against the diesel battery hybrid and petrol hybrid next year.

Audi is going hybrid too???, no!

Rumor has it that when Audi built the R18, they left space for a future hybrid system, so a KERS would be expected.

Rumour? Spoken to Ulrich Baretzky lately? From the get go the R18 was designed to be hybridable when Audi felt the time was right and it appears that 2012 will be the year of the hybrid at Le Mans with a possible 5 hybrid factory P1s and possibly even 2 more non-hybrid R18s in the hands of a semi works team...

When its Porsche, Audi, Peugeot, Toyota, and Aston Martin all in LMP1 I am going to cry tears of joy.

Yes and all the semi works teams! We just need Mercedes back, and Jaguar. Mclaren would make a cool LMP program, but they wont

They will if LMP 'EVO' rules are adopted, Ron Dennis specificially said they will only return to Le Mans when they can win outright in a car that looks like their road going models.

Jaguar won't be returning to Le Mans anytime soon and as for semi works teams in P1 I don't believe there actually is any anymore.
