So, any speculation for the upcoming season? I plan to see Audi seal up every race with a win, unless theres an intelligence breakdown like at Le Mans.

Totally opposite reaction here! I want to go to France and see that thing in action this year !!!!!

Well, it turns alright. I'm actually excited to see this in motion, puts to bed the doubts that it was even gonna work at all. Now we need some onboards. I'm actually eagerly awaiting to see this race now.

What track would this be? Sebring?

EDIT - They haven't announced the engine yet, I wonder what's in there ...

Ha, oh man that looks wierd! Still I'm a fan, I really hope it kicks ass!

Now we know it will turn. Just, is it stable enough turning at high speed? Will the front tyres last long? Still, we have some questions left.

At least, we know this car turns and wow, I'm actually surprised!

That engine note reminds me of the chevy they put in the LMP Challenge cars. Maybe they are using that to test with?

Has anyone seen Aston Martin's new WEC GTE car? It's beautiful and it's a V12 Vantage.

Its not a V12 Vantage as that's not even allowed by the rules, it's a V8 Vantage as 8 Cylinders is the max allowed in GTE.

And the Deltawing engine is a 1.6 turbo four of unannouced origin, the whole point is it does lmp speeds with a small engine. Wouldn't be very behold if they said that and then used a Chevy 5.7l V8 stolen from the Oreca chassis.

Wouldn't it be awesome if they used this:

BMW 1.5 L Turbo. 4 cylinders. Said to deliver well over 1000 bhp in its latest versions.

EDIT - I just realized it's the 24 hours of Le Mans we're talking. They better not use this 2-hour-lasting wonder

You're looking at the engine that gave Nelson Piquet the 1983 F1 title :D

It had 1,350 BHP in qualifying trim in 1984.

not as much as my X2010 though lol

The Audi R18 E-tron Quattro:

Though its in a different form, its kinda cool to see the name "Quattro" on a current Audi Race car 👍

And competing alongside it, the Audi R18 Ultra:

Didnt know the point was to have a small engine, i thought the emphasis was just radically aero advancments. but theres no reason a turbo 4 isnt a logical choice for it. wonder when they will announce who's engine.

Chevy, but the one from the Cruze has been in the rumors...

Ha i knew it had a chevy engine note! maybe they are using the same exhaust as the Orecas? Eh eh?

Yeah but I'm sure that car had no downforce compared to the X2010 and no power steering, TC, ABS, grip, etc lol.

Both of the Audis are gorgeous IMO, and hey.. TWO WEEKS 'TILL THE NEW YEAR!! :D

Lola released the first official pics of their 2012 LMP1 car, the B12/60. This is the car that will be used by Rebellion in the WEC (engine: Toyota) and by Dyson (engine: Mazda) in the ALMS + Le Mans.

In an era of ugly F1 cars, nothing compares to the beauty of a LM prototype ;)

EDIT: Even if the "bulky" headlights are not to my own liking
