FOUR Audis! :o

Still waiting to hear about this Pescarolo AMR-One chassis rumour.

It's True!

AMR-One Pescarolo! 👍

"Pesca" is a true "Le Mans" legend. And a gentleman.

EDIT - I feared this, but it is a bit sad to see that the 908 cars, including the Hybrid, have become museum goods. No privateer or semi-works entries.

It could be due to running a diesel is too costly for a privateer, and Peugeot stopped all development on it. So any privateer that wants to make this car fast over the years will have to buy expensive wind tunnel time.

The regulations are now also being more anti-diesel with the fuel allotment being cut severely. So the Audi R18 may not be the fastest outright car, but it may in fact be the R18H and the Toyota if they did indeed do their homework thoroughly.

Not sure how many AMR-One tubes were made, but it is interesting that at least two of them will run the 2012 Le Mans ... in very different disguises

How cool from Signatech to designate Jordan Tresson as first driver for one of their Le Mans LMP2 cars. 👍

I'm a bit disapointed with the GT entries, especially since their was a Lexus rumoured. GT3 looks like the future now...

Wait a minute... BMW Team RLL is not in the list of Le Mans? I thought they received the invitation?

Yes, BMW will be missed. I guess we will watch a Ferrari vs. Corvette battle, with the Porsches and the Aston being close. Unless David richards has a surprise for us this time.

Aaaah.. That's a real shame. :(

But I can understand though. Schnitzer has moved to run DTM surely and Team RLL lack of funding is the reason why I believe. No other team is going to run the BMW so I guess it's the end.

Promotional clip for this year's race

80th edition of this race, 40th anniversary of Matra's victory also given relevance in the video. We don't see much of the Peugeot 908 (we do have a good look at the 905 though), we do see Paul Newman, and a glimpse of a famous Toyota :D

BMW is quite a loss. But RLL is a bit short on Cash at the moment... I was hoping they would at least spring for a reserve...

Dome returns to Le Mans 24 Hours with Pescarolo:

Seriously hoping Pescarolo can pick up some sponsorship or find investors so they can run the Dome full time and run 2 of them.

Stop at 1:36 and you can see the Mercedes just taking off. You'd think the video producer would have a bit more footage available to him? :D

A sportscar and engineering firm located in Japan....

Why are you so rude to nitro? Everything he asks or says you seem to have some sort of sarcastic "Why would you ask that question, Everybody knows that" answer.
A lot of the things you seem to say have an elitist or Self-absorbed tone, can you perhaps tune it down a bit?

On topic: Should be good to see the Dome, and how well it runs next to a pretty diverse field this year.

Because a 5 second google search would answer so many questions that don't need to be asked....sorry to him but it honestly never seems like he does any research.

The thing I find rather amusing is alot of you act like I know nothing about certain things or am basing my knowledge off fantasy, sorry if I come across elitist or self absorbed (nice joke on that last one) but I know a hell of alot more than a fair number of members on here when it comes to the technical side of sportscar racing.

And thats great that you know more. But if you're a bit of a prick about it, you'll find you lose credibility pretty fast. Whether you actually know or not.

And how is that a problem? He knows that if he asks the question here, he can get a timely response and in terms that he will unerstand.

"Mr. Monkeys, how do you spell ______"
"Go look in the dictionary"

I doubt that happens. But in may be different depending on what grade he teaches.

Cmon guys. No reason to inject hostility, who can be upset when Sebring is only a month away?

Peugeot's Engineers who now dont have jobs.

Im pretty excited for Sebring. I love seeing the ALMS and WEC worlds collide. Suddenly, Chis Dyson looks pitiful.

There are 3 petrol HPD's entered. And two rebellions, He should be very pitiful lololol. Im excited to see the HPD's battle!. Im extra excited for qualifying!
