If you guys are ever looking for crazy cars to run against each other yet are still competitive, check out the link below from the (now defunct) TBC League. Shiroi_Dragon was the league owner and is an engineer, so he would compare different cars based on weight, hp/tq, gearing, etc. and it was amazing how the cars ran so close together even though they were in totally different classes. A lot of it is in German but Shi was always good about adding an English version too. It is fun to see a whale of a Mercedes SEL 300 6.8 AMG (421 hp /1635 kg) running againt a Ford Escort RS 1600 (190 hp / 865 k) and an Aston Martin DBR1/300 (254 hp / 856 kg) and being wheel-to-wheel the entire race.

I was just looking at this, very interesting. My sheep buggering friend and I will test a few of these to see if it's something we might try in the near future.

OK, nobody picked up on this, not surprising as it was quite a stretch. My memory can sometimes be a burden because it's full of useless knowledge.

This guy is from a Bugs Bunny cartoon. "Could you help a fellow American that's down on his luck?" The subject of that episode was what I was eluding to.

I still don't get it..........but, I smoke a lot of dope so I'm not surprised.

Who's ready for tonights insanity?
Regular time...8:00 for qualy. Race starts 8:45. I am still not sure what the starting fuel will be yet, but will know by the start of the race. You guys better figure out your fuel burn in qualy. We will not be doing a timed race, it will be a set lap race so the pit stop timing will be easier to figure out. Tire wear will be turned up a notch to make the decision to change them or not more of an issue when we do pit.

Stuff to remember for tonight..
The leader slows right down to 60mph so the rest of the field can catch up once the yellow is called.
We all pit at once after a catch up lap.
If you have been lapped in the first half, you can pass the leader during the one lap catch up lap and try to make it to the end of the train going into the Pits
No pitting allowed before the competition yellow.
Pit strategy is critical for track position for the second half of the race.
The leader will continue the out lap at 60mph and he has complete control of the race after the last corner, if we are not in position, too bad.
NO CALL OUT TO START. SO BE PREPARED.
Leader must start before or at the start/finish line.
You cannot pass the guy in front of you till the start/finish line

Get it? Got it? Good.

I advertised my race broadcast on my FB page and got around 70 viewers throughout the week, cool. What I am going to do tonight is talk while I'm racing to explain to my real(lol), friends what we are doing and why.
You might want to mute me for the actual races cause I will be blabbing..... shut up Colts.

How do we mute individuals, I ahavern't been able to find it.

Sounds like fun!!

My wheel seems to be back to 100ish%. Thanks to @SGETI for hooking me up with that clamp!

Unfortunately I'm going to miss tonight. All the best fellas.

This song is for Lobban after I beat him in the last race of the night... I could hear the disbelief in his voice as he yelled "What's going on!?!"

ROTFPMPLOL! (Peeing My Pants)

Forgot to stream the first race, but I may upload the replay. Until then, here's the second two races. Lot's of fun battles tonight. Had a blast. On a side note, I've been watching some YouTube editing videos. So future videos will hopefully be trimmed down - no practice, no qualifiers, no breaks, etc. But for now, just fast forward through the B.S. Enjoy.

I thought tonight's racing was one of the best we've had. I went form 11th, to sixth after the yellow, then DFL after wiping out. Some good racing and fun in between and I really enjoyed it.
Unfortunately work called, but I got a beauty of a shot on the way home I just had to share with you all...

In all seriousness: Oh my God! You get paid to see stuff like that! You are truly blessed my friend. What a pleasure to see such things while doing something you love to do. Thank you for sharing that photo.

Thanks to all who came out last night, something a little different again but I think it worked out well. Nobody was able to stop Eh Team last night,, he becomes the second driver to score a perfect night, (yours truly is the other). And congrats to @Gr8_Lakes for his first overall podium place!

Congrats to this weeks "Mr.Awesome" @Eh Team

<------10. Woot Woot!!!!....*Does the happy dance*

Meh!!! Eh Team again........yawn, snore, burp fart........
Really Cliff, you deserve the Awesomeness tag again.
There's a couple, or a few including me who need some boning up on our race craft. Going into corners too fast and taking other guys out is unacceptable.....especially in the first turn. If you cause a kerfuffle, you MUST WAIT until all the cars affected by your mistake get by you. We should all know by now how to get through the first turn clean.
Way to go Gutterpig, ya beat me like a rented mule.👍
GR8 podium GR8.
Hey Sean, if I had the chance, I would rather go to work as well. Only pilots see sunsets like that.
I thought Red screwed up by turning left just before he left, I was giggling at him until I realized he went off on purpose, nice exit from the track.
I liked the pitting last night, different strategies paid off for some, not so much for others(me). It was something different, but your feedback is always welcome.

No surprises next week, I was just funnin with ya'll. It's Aeroblites turn to pick. The week after though, look out...... Something out of this world, out of this universe, out of this galaxy. :grumpy:..meet BOB

I'm jealous Shawn, I'd leave my rig anytime for that view. Us VFR guys don't get to venture above the clouds very often. One of my favorite things to do with flying is breaking out of the clouds into the clear blue, something I will likely never do as PIC.

How's about the view from 50 ft up and 50 ft. apart over the flats on the Ottawa river. Most of my flying hours on that plane were under a hundred ft altitude. The airport is right beside the river which gives an unlimited runway when on floats. The highest I ever went in that thing was 3000 ft. Once. My fear of heights kicked in that high which is ironic because really, the higher you are, the longer the glide options are. I bet Sean gets above 3000 real quick to avoid us Wankers down in the weeds.

RIP tango Zulu papa.
You were a blast till the tornado took you away like little Toto.

Sam and I had a great race, grats to Sam, stole the podium from me in the last 3 corners.

I thought it went well. It was interesting to see who made up spots and who lost them in the pits. I know I picked up quite a few spots in R1 and R2, but ended up paying the price for it due to not taking tires or not putting in enough fuel. Its a monkey wrench thrown into the night which makes strategy play an important part. The yellow also helps bunch everyone back up, which I think is the ultimate goal of this lounge. Having someone to race with almost at all times, in a tight fun clean racing kick back atmosphere. Theres plenty of other leagues to choose from if youre looking for more of a die-hard 100% serious race. And thats why I run with you guys, no need for hours of practice during the week, just show up and have fun.

I know were a ways out from the PCars2 launch, but will there be any reason why we wouldnt use it when it first comes out? I'm assuming everyone will be buying it at or around the release date.

Are games available for digital download on launch day or does it take awhile for them to roll them out for download? Id much rather download it to my ps4 than have to drive to pick up a hard copy.

What a great plane! I'd really like to fly something like that - low and slow and open air. Mine would have to have Batman on it though.

And here is Lobban in his usual position while I was installing his floats!

I Fly Roads! Only about 5% of my time is in actual IMC - all my flying has been here and the SW US where it usually boils down to descending through a layer for 2 minutes. I used to love flying freight in New Mexico in a Cessna 402, the land was mostly flat and uninhabited so I would often go VFR so I could enjoy the scenery a little bit lower. I knew my route by buttes and windmills...

It's funny, Steve had no interest in float flying while I couldn't wait. We first met when he was selling the floats from a plane he bought. His loss, my gain. And look what he got in the deal.... a friend who has been pestering him for over 20 years. I know I would get bored of flying from one airport to another just to say I am a pilot. Not to say Steve is a boring pilot, he has much more experience in a bunch more planes than me. I used to do touch and goes all the way for miles down the river. Boaters must have thought I was nuts, take off, up to 100ft and set up for another, I think I did 10 in a row once.

I used to write for the COPA,(Canadian owners and pilots) magazine about my Ultralight adventures. Got quite a few published, some funny, some almost tragic. I am working my fat and juicy fingers to write about this new online racing passion I have found, the friends, competitors and Desert Chickens I have met........
Be afraid.

The cars picked for this weeks races are the most equal cars in the game which is why both are being used on the same night. We will all be driving both cars in six15 minute sprint races at.........not Banochbrea. Get a basic tune and be ready for tweaks, cause one of the tracks will kill parts of the cars. Steve and I did about 130 laps for testing and all is good. Lol. Ok, we did 3 laps.....really.

I Fly Roads!

Well that to, if you look closer at the bottom of the pic those are railway tracks, I Follow Roads/Railways/Rivers!

Next time your talking to Lobban, ask him what happens when you fly too close to sailboats! :D

@sam: depending on where you're at, Amazon gets the game delivered to your house on the first day of release. One time it got delivered earlier than usual so I had it the day before the official release, but the servers weren't open yet so I could only play the single player campaign until the next day when the online lobbies officially opened. And when I just bought DiRT 4, they sent me a $20+ rebate since they matched another vendors sale price. It was an unexpected but nice surprise.

I'm getting a couple root canals done on Monday. Hopefully be able to make it. I love those cars.
I have two root canals to get finished a

Everybody be sure to get the 69 camaro z28 trans am car in p2.... I owned one for real, they are a great car.
If you broke the rear tires loose, just keep your foot in it, steer into it and it powered itself straight. I sure hope they get that lumpy cam sound and headers right.
