Hey guys

This championship is about low powered cars for close equal racing, good handling and on smaller circuits.

The emphasis is on Momentum Racing.

All you have to do is meet me in my lounge, the lounge will be open 30 minutes before hand to allow everyone a chance to connect and practice.

Every race will be held at 22.30(GMT) each Thursday. For you not to miss any of the races check out the link to see your time zone http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

Points Schedule

25 - 21 - 18 - 15 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1


. Damage will be set on the light setting.
. The race will be on a false start grid system.
. Will be raced with light penalties.


Rules:

1. Racing must always be clean and respectful.

2. Unnecessary or abrupt blocking or overtaking manouvres will not be tolerated,as the replays will be reviewed after race, this could lead to DQ from the race or championship.

3. Specs mechanical/visual on first post must be adhered to.

4. Please keep chat during the race to a minimum.

As the championship has grown, there has been so much interest so im thinking of doing two groups, one on Thursday and one on Friday. All you have to do is write your psn/and the day you prefer to race.

Fully customisable suspension
Stage 2 chassis weight
Rigidity improvement
Window weight reduction
Carbon bonnet (Any)
Sports ECU
Sports air filter
Sports exhaust
Sports catalytic converter

Strictly Not Allowed:

Drivetrain changes
Turbo
Transmission changes
Twin-plate clutch
Semi-racing flywheel
Customisable LSD

It you should be about 197HP and 975KG


Make sure you do an oil change after purchasing the car as it will give you a little bit more power

For those who havent notice.. Ranek405 will be the host for future races so send him a FR, As my connection isnt the great and keeps kicking me out my own lobby.

With the peoples names on the drivers list i will try and keep thursday as our race day, but im thinking of having two groups of about 8-10 people to cut down on lag/ connection lost and to have hopefully cleaner races they will be held... one at 10pm (GMT) and the next at 11pm (GMT)

Oh yeah, make sure you put damage to HEAVY. It makes it much more exciting.

I think to make this more of a drivers race, use either comfort tires or sports.

This, racing tires are just overkill on the Cappuccino IMO. I'll race regardless of the tires used but I think using sports tires or worse would be better.

Do all those specifications add up to what the Race Modification is?

That was the reason why I was interested in starting a cappa cup to begin with =- because they can be RM''d.

This isn't intended to be or replace a potential cappuccino cup championship etc as I am intending for this allow the use of other cars in the future :)

Race mod has been excluded for this event simply because if other cars are used in the future then it will become too expensive preparing each car for each event,It's only a bit of fun after all!

And iirc the cappa RM is only 71hp or thereabouts from purchase, Ours is running about 122hp for this event :-)

Right, yeah when I was messing around with the RM'd cappucino, I found that I need to to full engine tuning and turbo additions to max the HP, otherwise the aero was useless: it didn't make any difference to handling or lap-times however the aero was set.

But I wouldn't worry too much about cost. Money doesn't seem to be too hard to get in this game.
