I have had multiple requests to start my own gallery. I didn't think anyone was really watching.

So, here's my deal...

I don't follow ANY photographic laws. Ever. I shoot when it feels right. Sorry to the purists.:(

I love the car, not the background. And I like my models BIG!!!

With that said, here we go. Enjoy. Feedback is appreciated.

A very likable gallery! 👍 There's only one thing I don't like: some shots feel oversaturated, maybe that's just me... Keep it up!
 
That's a really great idea to start a gallery. Be sure i will come here for each update ;)
Some really beautiful pic for your opening ! I've never seen the b&w Miura shot : superb !
 
DocAmor, I love you!!! ( In a respectful artistic way)

To answer that, I have to say most artists photos resemble photographs from cameras. I could not find those when I studied photographs of actual vehicles.

I only could find 'Motor Trend' and such for inspiration during my internship.

So most will resemble magazine slick style photos.

And they do.

I will do a saturation check from here on, because I value your opinion.

Kodje, Thanks for coming! Glad you like!

The Miura was from the 'B&W' photo thread. No one saw the beauty of the photo. I don't just de-saturate and submit. These photos are carefully edited, No blown out skies, no jaggies (Maybe a little, but I'm anal about that), no excessive sharp. (I am my own worst critic), just built from the ground up, with others viewing pleasure in mind first.

Kodje, You only submit hot ****, thank you for the kind words.:)

Love the car pics too but there's something about those empty Nurb track picks gives me chills. It's almost like I can smell the woods and hear the far off sounds of some turbo-charged beast making it's way ever closer. The calm before the storm.

Your latest photoworks are nicely done man, I honestly am able to give credits to your conception of creating such flash compositions of cars, whilst the toning is just a tad bungle for overly saturating the tinges in the background, as already mentioned above. :(

That is my nice way of saying, "If you are looking for a gallery of blown out skies simulating daylight, with jagged edges at every seam, being applauded because they are 'technically' set up properly, you are in the wrong museum."

I don't know what 'Flash composition, bungle, or tinges' mean, dude, that is too much. I "do" me.

What you're missing is the love, care & attention to detail (Of the vehicle), that I put forth.

Not bad for a guy who NEVER heard of Photoshop, Gimp, ect, before November 2012.

These photos are just stepping stones along the way to getting better. I'm sorry you were disappointed.

This gallery is for the rookies who think that it is impossible to get better!:)

Plus, with the exception of 3 shots, these are OLD photos. The newer stuff would upset your sensibilities
even more.:gtpflag:

Wait -.- is the Nurburgring images real. because thats amazing. used all of our photo`s as wallpapers :3.
 
Although not all you shots are gold there are definitely some gems so far and I think they are more than worthy of having your own gallery. I look forward to seeing more. 👍
 
So many beautiful photos, and I'm glad you don't follow any rules as such.

I can see the amount of time you put in to each photo though, so top marks for that.
