I actually saw this pop up on my youtube subscriptions and I just sat there wtfwhy as I watched it thinking why you even did this. Now that I found this thread, I'm still confused as hell.

I did it as a joke haha to show how easy it is to show proof.. And i can guarantee my time is ACTUALLY LEGIT. Haha

Don't think it's fake. I let my speed 12 roll for a few hours after I did a run, came back a few hours later and it was dark, Time seems to flow in real time from when you start the test on the test track. I almost sent the night shots in for Karo's competition untill I beat the time.

:lol: Sorry, forgot to put [sarcasm][/sarcasm]. I know ptk's run was legit. I'm just jealous he can get that type of launch in 6th gear. I've just finished watching the full unedited video to try to study his tune to replicate it and think after the 4th time seeing it I finally got it. He has a rather complicated shifting method in which he launches in 6th, downshifts, then back to 6th again. I'll have to watch it a few more times to make sure I have it down before I go to practice. If I can master this shifting technique I can dominate!!! 👍

I still think it looks suspicious... I mean, who would paint their GTR that colour :D

I don't know kenny I'm having a hard time figuring that out, the more I watch it the more confused I get. I think I'm gonna have to quit drag racing for eveeeer. :nervous:

Yeah, I still haven't nailed it yet. I can get it to launch in 6th but when I try to replicat his complex shifting methods I just slam the rev-limiter when I downshift. What I wouldn't give to have a gander at that tune just for a second. :lol:

Kenny I saw the video for the last time and I think I saw the reverse light on, hmmm that might be the missing link.

It's night........--> faster than light? O_O

I never thought about that. colder temps might equal thinner air might equal faster times I get it now!!!!!!!

:lol:

It's the other way round. The colder, the higher the air density, the higher the air pressure, the more power has the engine.

Therefore the air would be thicker.

I like this we are getting somewhere now. I feel like I'm back in school with all this analyzing and stuff. My brain hurts. :lol:

lol true I remember an episode of Top Gear where they were in South America and the higher up the mountains they got, the worse their engines ran.

And it's also the reason why engines push more horses on a dyno at low temps than at high temps.

Btw, it's the same for us humans; you can hardly breath on a very high mountain like the everest - guess why!
Oh I love our cute alps : )
