If the production version makes it in it should, thats the question not the tranny. I still dislike the engine setup for it.

i think it will, or i hope it will, i mean in gt3 they have the option of changing the 7th gear ratios but that i kno of, there isnt any cars that have a 7th gear, but it would be awsome if it was in gt4, i reckon the polyphony 001 and 002 in gt3 shouldve had a 7th gear

The concept only has a 6-speed. Hopefuly the production version will make it through, then we can finaly use that 7th gear slot in the tuning section

Why would it not have 7-speed or why would it not be in?

The only reason the production M5 wouldn't be in is they have already got the concept and maybe they are too lazy to put in production instead. But the two cars are soo similar they could slap in the 7-speed and label it production and nobody would notice.

Hmmm not strictly true... the production has more power in a different engine and has different brakes... Looks the same maybe... drives the same? Definitely not.

I am aware of this, but...
would you notice if they slapped a 7-speed on it and labeled it production in GT4? Especialy considering GT isn't exactly a simulation, and we cant compare it to the Prologue M5 since the physics engine is going to be revised for GT4.

Probably... My main grievance with the M5 concept is that the brakes are duff... with the new brakes this car will be awesome... a little extra power will make it even better...

PS Is it not the case that you can get to the 7th gear in Prologue anyways?! (I've not tried personally!)

7 Speed Manual to choose from when you unlock the Car for Arcade Mode! 👍
