Someone JUST mentioned this: Modnation Racers track creator. I don't see why the developers wouldn't team up. They're both PS3 exclusives and both developers admire the others work, I'm sure. Truthfully.

Something unable/cant/impossible to discribe
lets just say i want to be lost in the start ., try to figuir it out

More Skylines.

+ 1
:D

"The real Skyline simulator"

It is a great car, no question there.

GT5 needs a more organized and clean multiplayer mode and a paint mode like the game "you-know-which". Only Premium cars.

"The Death of B-Spec Bob"

And yes more Skylines, there are simply not enough. In fact, get rid of all other cars and just have Skylines.

PS5 on the 10th year, featuring Quantum Atomic Processor for real time everything.

I don't think that will happen though, unless molecular quantum computing is finally mainstream this decade. Goodbuy cooling companies! It's been fun. Unfortunately, the Asian Marketing dept will dictate when and how that happens.

oh, and more skylines, yes, why not, if it makes them happy, by all means!

Although, with the power of the Atomic organic molecular CPU, I'd like it to design a car in real time, as we want it to be, using our thought patterns for design.

I'm not kidding. this is the future. The next due ice age may happen first though, so that'll be a bit of a bind. I may take up ice fishing.

Since I've been hearing more and more mention of a PS4 I decided to do a little digging. Since one of my PS3's is a year old and the other less than a couple months. Not interested in shelling out more cash having perfectly capable systems. Yet, if I was a bettin' man I'd lay the house that Sony will announce it at this years E3. That's next week folks!

Why?

Sales of the PS3 are still 3rd behind Xxxx and Wxxxx. Basically because the 3 came out after the other two. To turn that around they figure they've got to get out the door first this time. It takes 2-3 years to develop games for a new system. Already, game developers have "prototype" system parameters for the new X..& W... If Sony's going to get what they want they gotta go now!

According to my signature a good bottle of wine.

rFactor 2 is supposed to come out before the end of 2011, 3D models and physics will be some serious stuff. Competitors are moving fast, I don't know what to expect by PD I just hope they'll update GT5 a bit before to work on GT6. I'll hate to see them wasting time on a portable version.

i would like to see GT6(PS3) & GT7(PS4)

I was just going to say "another GT game". I suppose it's possible that we could see another full (not a "prologue) console release within the next ten years, but I won't hold my breath.

I reckon we'll see early teaser trailers or tech demos of some sort as early as 2013, followed by GT6: Prologue released in 2015. After that we'll read about rumored release dates for 2016 and then 2017 followed by 2018, of course backed by rants on boards like this one about how it's definitely coming out that year. The playable demo will appear in 2019 and the game will finally hit shelves in 2020.

Of course, by then Forza Motorsport 8 would be a year old and feature 3,500 cars, all modeled up to 2019 standards, while in 2020 GT6 will boast 800 "Premium" models (at 2020 standards) and 1,200 "Standard" cars of GT1 through GT5 quality. FM8 will feature over 300 real-world tracks and at least 500 variants among them, as well as another 175 fictional courses accounting for another 350 variants, while GT6 will boast roughly half of that, and half of those will look pre-2011. After some online whining, Kaz will comment in interviews about how he really wanted another decade to complete his vision for the game, while simultaneously the GTFDL will argue that all those shortcomings are no big deal, that we should stop fussing over them, and then brag about how GT6's physics are 3% better than FM8's physics and refer to them as "arcadey".

I... never meant to go into such elaborate detail on a half-serious prediction. I was multitasking as I typed that, bouncing back and forth between here and a game on Facebook. My bad.

I must say Turn 10 has done an amazing job on capitalizing on the short comings of Polyphony Digital and has really solidified itself in the gaming market and most definitely has presence in the same communities as Gran Turismo.

However, I do believe PD has probably learned quickly that Standard/Premium cars is disappointing and confusing to people that just simply don't understand the concept. Most likely in the future, PD will drop the standard models from GT4 and will most likely have a 1,000+ car list at least by GT7.

I predict GT6 will have a pretty large car list as well and I also see it being "standard-free" with perhaps 200 or even more premiums dumped onto the current roster of premiums cars. However, the problem always arises in PD's awkward car selection. While GT6 could very well have just as many premiums as whatever Forza sequel is out, you can count on a good amount being weird and useless. This is something that PD needs to fix more than anything.

Now that GT5 has laid the foundation, all PD needs to do is just expand a little more on it. It isn't unreasonable to think that in GT6 we could even have 800 different premiums models, whether it be through the game or even through DLC... I mean GT5 dropped half a year ago and it was project PD has never dealt with before amidst an incredibly busy schedule... who knows how many premiums we could see before GT6 drops and even after GT6 drops - even more premiums could be DLed. PD likes to take their time on these things and the results are more often than not absolutely amazing - which can't really be said about Forza. That's a good difference between the two.

I definitely think the "standard car" is a GT5 thing and will not be in future sequels. I also think GT6 will regain PD's famosu pedigree.

Well said 👍. It's true that Forza has some strong points over GT5 in quite a few areas. And I don't see standards coming back in future titles either. They definitely learned that it's confusing to most of us.

Time travel exists…. Thanking you for confirming the release date for GT6.
I figured around 2020 myself.

👍

More realistic driving from the AI would be a huge improvement straight away. By that I mean more competitive in similarly specced cars and more aware when you make an overtake. Either that or a proper flags system (especially blue ones :irked:) to sort them out.

More Skylines.

Agreed:tup:

Higher performance vacuum sounds for 8 cylinder+ cars

Agreed again:tup:

GT6, GT7 and GT8.

Agreed again:tup:

...and more Skylines!

Already agreed to that one:tup:

Actual photorealistic graphics

Agreed:tup:

I would like to see more muscle cars in the game, and (just for poops and giggles) maybe a few Mario Karts, Rainbow Road, and maybe Mushroom Gorge.

I was also thinking, maybe to keep your GT game up to date, downloadable packages to update your game with more cars, tracks, challenges, events, championships, and options:D.

I have a crazy imagination

Actually, what I was thinking to make this game "funner-er", PD should add obstacles in Course Maker. Like ramps and full pipes and crazy/silly things like that. Something like a cross between Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Modnation Racers. It was inspired by Pro Skater. Transparent road surface, have sharks and exotic fish underneath lol.

Somehow, this thread turns to be a place to describe people's bad visions of upcoming GT game...

Kaz should release the game when it doesn't need any improvisations in the future, and no more fake release dates.

Can i just say

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT PD AN KZ ARE DOING DURING RIGHTING IN THIS THREAD I WANT TO KNOW THAT MORE THAN MY NEXT BREATH

you know guys i'm not joking i once dreamed that i killed kz i promise am not lying that dream was before gt5 release 2 weeks maybe i told my friend and he said that maybe i will get really disapointed by the game ( gt5 )

any way why everyone here wants more skylines i mean i like skylines more than my life but all skylines are in gt5 ( almost i should say ) but yeah hell yeah MORE SKYLINES

My hope for the gt series in the next ten years is.That PD release a complete game 100% complete and that they release the game on time
