The North America DLC thread

Whats funny is how anyone can blame pd for this when clearly its scea's fault, and they are doing nothing but pissing everyone off as usual. What makes it worse went to the playstation blog and reveiwed the store update that hits today and nothing in there or the previous one about gt5 dlc being added to the store at all, im starting to wonder if we are going to get it at all here in the u.s.

Also would like to add they should unlock the hidden tracks that are on the gt5 game disc such as the seatle circuit that was my favorite track of all, and bring back some of the other missing tracks from the first 4 gt games.

That's what circuit I've been thinking about but couldn't remember the name. Seattle circuit was epic. I miss the second set of hills with that sharp corner on the other side waiting to catch some poor fool off guard!!
 
Not to mention NA time zones we have to wait on Alaskan and Hawaiian zones to flip on over to the next day.

yes, thats the best part of the entire track, those hills and the sharp curv right after. What is even more maddening, that track with many others is on the ps3 gt-5 disc already, they are just hidden to the console so to speak. How ever you put the dvd into a computer that can read dvd discs and you can see it.
 
I'm playing NFS the run demo while waiting, 2 cars to choose from, Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni and 911 Carrera S. It's like no matter what I do, I just couldn't spin out a RR car LOL
 
Last week i was pi*sed off because of the delay. Yesterday, I went to sleep disapointed at 2 am.
Someone says it should be online this aferternoon. Cross fingers les gars.

My jaw is dropped. Not in a good way haha

That's sad. I thought that game had potential to be a great NFS game from looks alone.

I played for like 5 mins and my G27 doesn't work with it, so okay that's enough, quit game, back to GT5, drove the range stormer at toscana and I couldn't stop grinning
 
When we click on the Downloadable content via the GT5 start up menu, will it show its available when its released?, or will we need to keep checking the PSN store?.

I took the day off of work for this, (and i need to have a cat scan later) so im hoping it will show up before then.

The Cat scan would explain a lot for taking off from work just for this, lol

You'll have to check the store or just check back here. I'm sure there will be 5 posts within the first half second that it's out.

I didn't think the week wait would be that long but after seeing everyone else on it for a week has made me want the cars a bit more.

I mentioned two as in both the Stealth cars, even though one isnt for the delay. The reason I mentioned it was because once again, its a US account only thing :grumpy:

But didn't Australia already receive this if the Signature Edition was purchased?

:lol: yeah the cat scan isnt until 4pm and my work hours are 7-3 this week, so i could of went in. As soon as i realised it fell on the day the DLC is being released here though (thanks for the delay sony/pd), i decided to skank the whole day off. Things we gotta do huh?

Hopefully it wont take too long to become available. đź‘Ť

In the US the Stealth Cars were only pre-order gift cars. We didn't have the option to buy the whole pack. I do wish it wasn't so region based on the cars. I would be happy to buy the whole set of them as DLC.

Given that two of them have been made available recently (if you include the NSX later today), the odds seem good that we will eventually be able to acquire the rest of them. đź‘Ť
 
The DLC is linked to the Playstation Network Store, which usually updates with new content every Tuesday around 3 to 4 PM Eastern time.

The signature that was practically sold out in my area before it had even been released. We didnt get any options to get purchase the DLC codes seperately, so they were practically all a pre order bonus as well :grumpy:
