I am not enraged. It's a privilege to play a game, even if you pay to do it. So we wait a little longer... there are more important things to actually get angry over.


You people need to chill, grow up, evolve, whatever it takes.
 
This is just ludicrous. There are companies like Apple that at least get the software out, and then there's Sony that leaves you with a bag of air.
 
I have proof, if they refuse to refund me or cough up the DLC I can take them to court. Not worth it though.
 
You gotta call Sony, an they will refund the $11.99 if you thought you were getting the full package rather then a car an wallpaper...

agreed, technology always runs into bugs and things are done to fix it. i'm not angry at all that the dlc isnt working right yet, just dissapointed. i'd be more angry about how our govt. runs things right now then my game getting delayed a lil more longer

Once downloaded, you may need to install the DLC before Gran Turismo 5 will recognize it. To install the DLC. select the capsule icon for each item from the XMB > Game section and press X.

Anger is not needed, patience is, they are fixing the issue and refunds will be given since they know whats going on (ignore what was said when -------- phoned them they probably didn't know the situation), you'll have it soon and it'll all be sorted.

Don't tar other sony divisions with the gimps that run SCEA.

To be fair even the european store is run by bunch of tools but they misfire occasionally. Only the japanese store is run and managed competently.
 
Sony is refunding the money if you call... I just got off the phone an the money is back in my account now...

Yea the woman i talked to had me on hold for sveral minutes and when she came back she told me their researches are aware of the issue and looking for the cause and that I would receive a refund by the end of the week for the second purchase I somehow made.

So if like me you accidentaly or unintentionally purchased the pack twice call Sony
 
ok i bought the pack,i got the car and theme.

when i go into my transaction history it shows i purchased the complete pack(tho it has() around the price,but under download history it only shows the theme and the stealth.

weird but im sure they will work it out.

It's easy for you to say....Sony didn't take $12 of your hard earned money and then fail deliver what they promised.
 
Well I wish I came here before downloading the DLC. :grumpy: Hopefully it doesn't take too long for this too be sorted out and Sony either fixes it so anyone who has purchased the DLC receives it, or we all just get a refund.

Oh and I have a feeling that the only reason this is happening is because of the added 'bonus'. I have a feeling that because when you pay for the DLC it loads the bonus, that it just forgets about the actual DLC..
 
Guys, it's up now. I just clicked the download button and got my options. I'll take a pic with my phone and prove it if need be. Everyone needs to try it now!
 
Just got off the phone with the 1-800-345-7669 number and they said it could take up to 12 hrs after purchase to show up on your DLC list. So pretty much by midnight if you bought it you should have it is what I was told. It just showed up for me after a shut down and restart of my ps3.
