Once you get enough miles on the car you want to engine swap (1242 miles on odometer), then you can go into the Power upgrade area and there will be a fourth option for Engine Swap under Cooling.

I know you asked for a mileage code. That might be somewhere in this thread or in the Wanderer's thread. I don't really know if there is one.

in my game the car has to have over 1242 mi. on it to do an engine swap. if the car has exactly 1242 mi it wont be able to swap the engine, but the engine swap option apeared @ 1243 mi fo me. Any one's elses game like this?

2) The 13B is not well suited to high horsepower numbers, which are very important in the U.S as drag racing is much more popular than touring car and autocross events.

I already know that you are biased towards the RX7, but that doesn't necessarily make it a good car.

You're another putz with second hand knowledge.

And biased? I owned one for 4 years. I've seen all the hearsay, and rumors get put to rest.

Same here. I've got carbon body parts and I'm pushing almost 400HP. :)

Almost pushing? I'm over 400HP and still kickin ass. I bought a 350Z only for the wet days. ;)

Well guys, my TXR3 days are over...for now. ;) Now that I've got an Xbox with Project Gotham Racing 2, I've had to unplug the PS2...for a long time. Infact, I wont be plugging my PS2 back in untill GT4 comes out. I might not even do it then. Anyway, it's been nice talking to you guys about this game but I'm through with it for now.

You'll be back soon. (PGR2 is sweet aint it? I havent played it in a day or two. Maybe I'll play it some more tomorrow after I do some GT3 runs.)

I think it was posted before that the exact mileage was 1242.8 miles. Sorry if I'm not acknowledging who posted it--I don't remember. Both times that I have done it, it just went way past 1242 using the mileage trick, so it didn't matter.

Yes, I did obtain this information from Sport Compact Car magazine. However, I apologize if I hurt your feelings; you must be so proud to be a platinum member that narcissism becomes all too evident in your response.

BTW, I already said that the RX7 has good acceleration and it does have very little weight to carry around. But thats what happens when you only have half of an engine. Long live pistons!!!! (until they come up with something better)

..Until they've come up with something better? They have. It's called a Rotary. ;) I'm sticking by my opinions. And how can you say they have bad Torque, but they acelerate good? I'm betting that article was about the RX-8..

I dont think that you guys understand. The problem with the RX7 was that Mazda turbocharged a rotary. The Renesis is a much more efficient engine because it isnt as spastic and unpredictable as the 13B. If you're gonna do a rotary engine right, keep it NA.

Oh, BTW, theres another factor to acceleration. Its called RPM

True, sorry bout that. But its still a better engine all around. And anyways, rotaries in general have no torque. You and Monster7 should know that.

Im sorry that I like a stable engine that wont spontaneously combust

Damn, I tryed doing the mileage trick and when I put my disc back in the game would not go off auto pilot and the road didnt come back. Great!

Oh yeah, that's right monkey_magicx. Don't close the tray without the disc in it while doing the mileage trick. Leave it open. I think this was said before (I won't take credit for it). If you did the mileage trick correctly, it should have worked, AC22.

I asked because you said it beat your Evo that is "fully tuned". What model is your Evo, 5 or 7?

I haven't top speed tested my Evo 7 yet, but with a lev.8 motor/lev.5 cooling & muffler, it pulls low 9's...

Is your Evo broken? :D

lol no, it's a 7 and im sorry my MACH 1 beat the evo on the 1000 my evo killed it on the 400. My MACH 1 is outta ranking on 400. so my evo prob. pulls about 9.200...........

Im gonna have to check out the Mach 1. But I am really mad that you can't do anything to the Gembella 750GTR. I woulda put a Mobile 1 job on it. I wounder if you could switich out the engine if your get 1242miles..?
