No. That is illegal. It is against the AUP to discuss illegal activites on this forum. Please stay out of this thread if you are going to talk about these things.

Alright, the moment youve been waiting for. Here is my greatest creation (be it my ONLY creation, but since none have preceded it, its the greatest so far. hehe) I give you my impreza WRX STi Version VI

heres a front veiw. there arnt any hoods available for this car :( so i had to make due w/ the original. i took the original hood, made it carbon fiber, left it colored, but painted the sides, scoop and the stripe black (cuz thats pretty much what the "carbon fiber" looks like anyways.

And next. The thing i love most about this car. My custom WRC side graphics :D :D :D

Now as you can tell they arnt perfect replications by any means. But when youre limited to such a primative paint editor as this, you have to take what you can get, and i think i did pretty good, hehe. I also made the rear spoiler carbon fiber, left it painted and just painted the deck black, but the whole thing looks black in the shadows right there. And as you can probably see i also attempted to make a "roof scoop" but its not quite easy, plus its not 3-dimensional, so it doesnt really look that great, but it does look alright in some shots. i still dont know if im gonna keep that yet or not, lemme know what you think. heres a few more pics

And heres a pic of me racing an R33 Skyline......i kicked its ass :D

Lemme know what you think of her. I like it a lot. I cant sell this car now, ive put too much work into it. haha. I LOVE the pause feature in the replays now. It makes taking screen shots MUCH more easier than the first, they come out perfect instead of blurry from the motion

thanks guys. im surprised it came out so good myself. the hood i knew would be no problem. but i NEVER expected the wrc graphics to turn out as good as they did (even tho they're still really not perfect). but i definently love it, and this game just got raised up another notch on the totally awesome scale. hehe

 Probably because it's their own movie.

I'm gonna try to turn my R34 into the Signal Auto R34 tomorrow. Or maybe I'll just try some NISMO decals down the length of the car.

cool wrx, exept for the head lights and the tails it's really sweet. That's cool how u made the Subaru graphics on the side of the car, u gots skilz!

There are a few rumors floating around about why they aren't in the game. One is that Honda didn't want to be associated with street racing but we all know that one's not true because Honda is in NFS:U. The other is that Honda wanted too much money to be in the game and Genki didn't have/didn't want to pay them what they wanted so they aren't in the game.

i entered gameshark codes for all manufacturers and i didnt see any gemballa, vw, lotus, benz etc. are their cars purchaseable later in the game?

Yes. You have to race them to unlock them.

I'm saving up right now, so I can buy the Gemballa GTR500. It's about 230,000 CP but it has 500hp, stock. I think If I save up and buy this, the last half of the game will be much easier.;)

It's a mix of both. EA showed big money to get them in NFS...

Don't buy the GT500. Wait for the GT750. It's more expensive but its got 750HP stock.

Also, I've found out that the mileage trick does work! Only a few hundred more miles untill engine swap. :mischievous:

Finally. After going through 5 different malls to no avail, i've ordered it from Ebay. I still have to wait, but at least i know it's coming...

No doubt, I called the 15 or so places in my city that sell games and none of them have it.

I picked up one Friday from ebay for $35.00. :irked:

Damn, this game must be more popular than everyone though!

Too bad you guys still have to wait. :( But like PunkRock said, atleast you know its coming! :P

yeah, its usually a hit or miss with people. they either really love it, or really hate it. Me, ive been playing it since the dreamcast days, i think its one of the best series out there (next to the gran turismo series) It definently has a good following, Yet, stores just seem to know nothing about it. dunno.

I got a couple questions, you people with like 3 million dollars and 5 million dollars and such, have you just not spent like ANY money during the course of the game? or is it like txr0 where you get a few mil in lump sums at certain points in the game? Cuz this 100,000 dollar busness in between cities just aint cuttin my budget, not whne a friggin level 3 reinforcement costs 60 grand :odd: which brings me to my next question. do the reinforcement mods really affect handling that much? cuz i have none on my wrx right now, and sometimes it gets really loose coming out of turns, to the point where i slide into a wall and get stuck there. i havent really tried messing w/ settings that much, but will reinforcement make my cornering a little tighter?

Well I can't help you with the money issue since I only have 459,680CP. :( About the reinforcments, I honestly dont think they help that much. What you should do (actually, you should do this before you make any big purchase) is once in the garage, save the game then buy whatever it is you want to buy. Test the car and if you like it save. If not, just reload. :)

I got this on Thursday. This is the first game in the Tokyo Extreme Racer series I bought and I love it. I have one question though. What is the milage trick and how do I do it?

OA

The mileage trick is after you finish a race and it gives you the options of "Free Run" Replay etc.. well, you dont do anything. You just let the car go on Autopilot. Open your disc tray and take the disc out. Let the game run over night and you will start to rack up some serious miles. What this does is once you have 1242 miles on one car, you can do an engine swap on that car.

[EDIT] It's an awesome game isn't it? :D If you really like this one, then you might want to check out TXR0. It's pretty fun too.[/EDIT]
