I just got this game Monday!!!!111oneoneone ......:::::w00t::::.... Anyways, I got an s13 with the L-6 swap, maroon, with all carbon fiber kit parts with no wing...and I've been winning and such. But I'm still on the "first half" 3rd track.. And its been snowing and raining on my @$&... I just went against one of the Camo Evos. I'm sure you've all already been there. But I was wondering what swap you guys did first...

[end of ramble]

I raced them with my trueno beat allof them but 3 ,it was fully modded ,
then i had to buy a new car couldnt beat the last three so i bought an R-32 and kicked some a$$ on them o the skyline was almost stock:D

i beat them in a near stock Z31 with engine level 5.

as for my first swap, I'll be buying an NA V8, an L6-Turbo and a V8-Turbo. NA and L6 for wanderer requirements and the V8 for my actual swap.

Its so much fun beating some of these little pocket rockets w/ a completly stock Z51 Vette. I raced this one little MR2 last night that thought he was the ****. he even challenged me! i was gonna leave him alone, but nope, he had to start somthin. I killed him too, the replay was so hilarous, you just see me crusiin along w/ the low rumble of my V8, and in the distance you hear this high pitched buzz just tryin to keep up w/ me

I especially like using my Subaru Acylone and wasting up on those fully modded Corvette's and Viper's. Yeah, that includes that ugly as sin Firebird. It's just too fun.

One thing I have noticed is that the tires for the GM Firebird are far too small to that car. Also, I unlocked the corvette, by beating the team full of them (with my FC, it has a killer acceleration, and it tops at 182mph, with the engine swap), and I was dissapointed with it. Basically you dont have the option to modify its looks, and its rear end looks kinda messed up.

i duno if u guys kno this but i found something neat. u prolly kno this: if u press and hold select while u choose city and highway with a NA car until u are in game then ull be able to use boost. there is no gauge for boost tho. the thing i found is that when u use boost on a NA car the rear tires will catch on fire. i think the max boost for NA is 3 times. pretty neato

I'm tired of waiting for it to come. It better be here by friday, else i'm killing someone.

I think this is supposed to simulate Nitrous Oxide, because the flames shoot out of your exhaust pipes, and the boost will stop after a while, and you will have to press select again to turn it back on.

yea i think i saw that on the japanese site fo it, when i translated it it said sumthin about N2O

ah here it is:
- Nitro fuel injection equipment motion

Course the SELECT button it keeps pushing at the time of in
NA car limitation
エンジンチ…ーン above LEVEL1

When condition above is satisfied, it is possible to make the nitro fuel injection equipment move where explosive acceleration can obtain with also the NA car.
However until those where you can use are only in the battle of QUEST, in addition 1 day (return to the garage) there is the use restriction up to 3 times.
Here with will try to use at the place where you say.

I don't believe that to be accurate. I used a stock R34 against the guy you unlock the Firebird from and wasted him. It wasn't even close. Off the line I pulled away and he never caught up. I didn't even need to count on the walls to bring his life down. It was quite pathetic.

I also challenged a buddy of mine to race his fully souped Firebird against my semi-modded R34. Needless to say, the story was very similar to the computer race. I think you got lucky racing the Skyline, that is, if it actually happened.

As for the Supras and FD's, in a straightaway, don't even try. I lost the headlights in my rearview of the fully modded Viper, where as the Viper could waste a Firebird. I think you hold on too strongly to the thought that American vehicles are better than Japanese. The facts are straight, they aren't better.

Ummm can someone make, a guess you can call it a tutorial on how to make the carbon fiber hood pattern, I have Nissan 300zx with a CF invador style hood, I just want to make it CF pattern like monster 7's, rx-7, but I already tried and didn't get any where. And I dont have too much time to fiddle with this because I work alot. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

its just a sticker. go into the stickers menu and select it, then go into the paint editor and stretch the sticker over the hood

ive had much better looking results with the carbon fiber stickers by shrinking them down and then laying them like tiles, covering the hood. it keeps the the pattern from looking like "carbon rope" instead of actual carbon fiber. this is my advice for carbon fibering the hood.

1. zoom the hood in until it fills the work space
2. move the sticker into the upmost right corner
3. don't adjust the width of the sticker.
4. shrink the height up to the highest horizontal border line on the left hand side.
5. you should have a rectangular carbon fiber "tile"
6. place in one of the corners to start laying the "tiles"

repeat steps 1-4 and keep placing the tiles side by side until the hood is covered. some advice to making this work AND look good. when shrinking and placing the tiles, move the response of the mouse cursor down to have more control of the movement and size. this may seem to slow things down ALOT but doing this method prob takes the same amount of time as messing up so much you get frustrated because your tiles are differrent sizes and/or they won't line up. take the time to do it once my way AND come out with a carbon fiber *whatever* that looks like it should(or closer anyways)!!

your welcome for the "how to make GOOD looking carbon fiber aeros" tutorial!!

Damn, I just found out some annoying thing in the paint editor. When you try to change the body color with paint, it covers everything, even the lines of the car. When you try to put some lines, you cant see, where they actually will be, and worse of all, the car looks ugly when it receives that second coat of paint.

Any suggestions.

What does grid do? (I know what is grid, but nothing happens everytime I press it)
