"There is too much emphasis on all the negatives in life. We need at least one dedicated to the good times"

That is exactly what this place needs, a awesome attitude like that 👍

I'll be sure to come here often and post positive thoughts, life ain't all bad :D

Thank you it's what I think as well. Who says only talking about bad stuff and getting it out the way will make you feel better. Why not talk about good stuff and read all the other good stuff in people lives. Surly it's going to make you happy too.

What oils my gears is reasonability. It means someone has taken time out of their day to stop and think.

Another thing is American thanksgiving. I'm in Canada, but my family says screw it we will celebrate theirs too. Tons of turkey for the weekend, o yes please.

Stealing our holiday eh?

In call of duty, when I get that one-shot-kill with a sniper. I'm a run-and-gun guy so I'm not a sniper type.

Anytime I get a hitmarker is like taking a bite of a sweet cookie or a kit-kat bar.

When no one's around, I like to sing my heart out, or air guitar/drums/any instrument that's playing some breathtaking/mindblowing bit of a song.... letting loose in other words, it's silly, but you know what? It's a good feeling to be care-free once in a while.

it oils my gears when I beat a GT-R in an RS6 on the nordschleife in GT5. Also to get away from it all I love playing some techno on my headphones while driving a RUF Rturbo on TDU2 at 200MPH swerving through traffic and meeting other online players. Last thing, talking with people about any problem they have and helping them solve it, that is extremely satisfactory

Huh, I do the same :dopey: Leaves me a bit satisfied :)

Left the most important one out, generally when I'm here I'm happy and everything is good.

I agree. Nobody wants to hear about good things, we just want bad things to make ourselves feel better about our day.

So this thread is the opposite, thus making us feel worse about our day and having something grind our gears?

You ever hear for every positive there is a negative? They said that in the book I'm reading! :D lol

After what felt like a week of crappy weather, I finally got to do some rides on the trails over here. I managed to do a front-flip on my bmx, something I've been trying for a while.

So that's what oils my gears, being able to tick off a front-flip of my list 👍

Being able to ride my BMX for a whole day for the first time in weeks.
Edit:Today is so far oiling my gears. Beautiul Saturday, near 70 degrees, going out to ride even though I'm ridiculously sore, and then still having time for a girlfriend and GT tonight. I also just cashed my paychecks, DFGT here I come!

Every single playthrough of Borderlands, I always find an SMG called the Combustion Hellfire. It brings a whole new meaning of "light 'em up".

Turning on Netflix and seeing they just added How I Met Your Mother 👍

I know what i'll be watching for the next week.

receiving a free cheese calendar in the mail lol. It's funny because it's seriously the nicest calendar I have ever seen. I might go to the store and buy some of their cheese just because they put so much effort into the calendar.

Uh... What?

Uh... What?

Lol you know what a calendar is? Some cheese company set me one and it looks so fancy. It's all blue and gold with little details everywhere. Each month has a fancy recipe to use their cheeses in and the picture looks so professionally done. I forget the name of the cheese it is now, but it must be fancy since they put so much money into making their calendars so nice and sending them out for free.

Doing absolutely nothing all day. :D

Same here, but depends on how long. If it's over a couple of days then I'll start to hate it.

What oils my gears: Whenever I eat something delicious, like a sandwich I'm eating right now :3
