Got some awesome shots of my Aston Martin and after editing they turned out even better than I thought they would

Yesterday, I escorted a Lieutenant Colonel Marti around our high school as part of a program. Essentially, students ask high ranking military officials questions about national security. Escorting Marti was cool because It allowed me to chat with him and get more insight into his views.

Hanging on the sofa, and just killing some time.
And tomorrow Red Bull Drift Competition.
Hmm, I love the smell of rubber in the afternoon ^^

You have probably heard of the rock climber who fell in between the rocks and was trapped for days. He was forced to cut his hand off with his pocket knife in order to escape. He said it was the most intense, craziest, painful, and beautiful thing he had ever done. It was the day he got his life back.

Getting one of my papers done today oils my gears - that's now one less to attempt come reading week!

Also, the autoshow is in town - that gets me excited as well!

I've heard of it... Because there's a film, and someone who worked on it was a Guest on Top Gear and talked about it.

Just had a great Breakfast, and in an hour off to Abu Dhabi to see what the local drifters can do.
Good times :)

I heard about that. Crazy stuff.

Lol yes there is a film based on it which is why I said you prob have heard of the story. I saw the actual guy with no hand say it tho. I didn't really think of how awesome it must of been for him to be losing his hand. If I was in that situation my brain would be telling me how crazy of an idea it was, but for him he knew that ya it's crazy, but life would be much better. I like people who look at the positive side of things so it oils my gears.

That's the only way I hear of films now, guests plugging then on Top Gear, subtly of course. Jezza will start off by asking then about family or cars, and then quickly move on and say "so you've got a new film coming out, here's a trailer, and let the plugging commence".

Hearing my parents call my brother a big 🤬 oils my gears. :sly: He was in there arguing while being yelled at, and I was just listening and laughing!

Your parents are nice!

Yesterday. Yesterday oiled my gears.

Last year, for my Mum's 50th birthday, I bought her a track day experience, 3 laps driving an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and 3 passenger laps in an Ariel Atom. She really enjoyed that, but what oiled my gear was another couple who had bought the same experience, but the lady really didn't want to have a ride in the Atom, and gave it to me instead. Bonus!

Well, he went to show off to the no one who is watching by jumping over the small gates we use to stop the puppies getting to the cat food. He didn't make it and probably dented the wall and took off paint (it's happened already). And my parents built the house, so they have every right to be pissed off. ;)

Lunch at Fuddruckers then a few hours Red bull drift. Life is good.
