Yes. I managed to take it on the plane. There is no visible damage, but it may be a few days before I find out if the truss rod is intact. All signs are good so far though.

Lucky bugger! Though isn't half term an odd time to go, you only get one week, where as at Easter you'd get two...

I hear you. Had a 13 hour flight + jetlag myself.

I like when I find out problems that could have really sucked, are small. For example, I thought my MR2's starter was bad. Not a super big deal, but I wasn't really looking forward to it. Turns out, it's just the battery terminals. Also, I thought I would need to do a complete engine swap because I thought it threw a rod, but it could very likely be the piston rings. That saves me about $740.

My dad was over at a friends house trying to fix a switch box for some saloon thingy. After soldering the connections he tried it and it didn't work, after resoldering it it turned on, and then when he turned it off and on again, it stopped working. He then proceeded to hit it and it fell apart like you would see in a cartoon, with it springing out.
It was so funny, and he eventually fixed it so it's all good.

I was crawling in bed after taking out my contacts and thought, that oils my gears. So naturally, I came to GTP.
 
Snowboarding today! They got 62 cm (2 feet) of fresh snow in the last 24 hrs :) that definitely oils my gears.
 
Who gave you premo or did you buy it?
 
I purchased it.. I can't see anybody gifting it to me, I'm probably the most unlikable user on the forum.. Nobody needs to either, I have the cash..
