What's he weigh, 90lbs? Oh well. Better than having a 150lb lab decide to lay on your lap. THAT is some massive "oof".

More like 50lbs lol he's tiny for being 2 years old. I can't imagine that lol.

I got a great report on Parent's Evening, thank god...

Plus, as a reward, I have been given so much chocolate, I feel sick

My DFGT and GT Legends were just oiling my gears. I have just spent the last 40 minutes and 12 seconds racing ONE lap of Targa Florio in my BMW 3.0 CSL!! It was amazing, I know the car's limits and my own limits with this car now, until I lost the front downforce (blind turn and I missed and hit a wooden fence head on) and then things started going downhill. Though that was the best gaming experience I've ever had! I worked out my average speed to be 180 KM/H. I don't need any more oiling... Wait, that came out wrong... Nevermind.

Is GT legends a PS3 game? I hear people talking about it and it seems like a PS2 game, and my PS3 has no backwards compatibility. Anyway, relaxing with hot chocolate and a DFGT with GT5 oils my gears. I'm trying to grind to get enough credits to buy the Ferrari 330 P4, but all the cars I'm interested in and I think are cool like the BMW 2002 or the Acura CL Type-S (I might buy one in real life once I save up, not sure) keep distracting me. It's just an enjoyable game.

Pretty sure it's a pc game. And the Targa Florio is actually a mod for GPL that was converted to GTL.

GT Legends is a PC game. And I tried to download Targa Florio for rF1 but it wouldn't work!!! Targa Florio on GPL would be nice. But Grand Prix cars never ran at Targa, so why is it on GPL?

When my Maths teacher (who also happens to be the person that checks through my report and comments on it) says I've got a great report... :D

Yeah, that is completely true. The download for it is 191.44 MB.

That's why it's better suited to GT Legends, you can get these cars. (Some as downloads of course)

Because there is a sportscar mod for GPL and it was part of the world sportscar championship.

I wish I had a PC capable of running racing games. :(

Well, gear-oiler now is Witchcraft. No, not the spells and such, the band. They formed in 2004 as a tribute to Pentagram, yet they sound as if they were recorded in the '70s. They are a very vintage-sounding folk/rock/doom/psych band, and their songs are stuck in my head, and I do not mind one bit.

Grand Prix Legends is 13 years old and is still the best IMO. There are excellent mods available for it too. Including one that could possibly be the best game mod of all time, the full length isle of man tt course.

It's very unforgiving, but definitely worth a shot.

Is it any more difficult to run than when it came out? I've tried LFS and it only lags in certain areas and when other people are on track when I'm close to them, and rFactor just lags non-stop. I really want to try it now, though, since you mentioned that! How are mods accomplished though? Are they something I'd need experience with software tinkering for?

Mods are actually extremely easy. Most come with an installer. Just download, run and enjoy. There are many guides out there to help get it running on your version of windows. If it doesn't run smoothly on your pc, then consult one of those guides, where it will show you everything you need to run it. 99.9% of people use a file called Gem +2 which is an alternative front end. There's also "nigel's new rasterizers" which is essentially a set of drivers to get it working with your graphics card.

Sounds more difficult than it is.

Can it be downloaded? I only see disks and my netbook is the best-performing computer in this household.

You can at least download the demo for it. Which, oddly came out 6 years later. I've heard you can even install mods to the demo. Not 100% sure on that though.

You'll be needing this site for the mods. Not sure about the demo, but you'll probably find it with a quick google search.

Hey can we get back on track? I know I get off track too but certainly there must be a thread for this elsewhere.

Oiling my gears... Finals week is almost over, I will have no homework this weekend, I start auto class on Monday and my song I'm writing seems to be coming along well.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus live chat oils my gears! It's so cool they take time to talk to fans!

Regrettably, my internet connection is ridiculously slow. Hopefully my internet connection in Japan will be better.

I won't get GPL. But I will get rF2, GTR3, and pC.A.R.S. Why are you going to Japan?

Eeeew, it's face looks as if it's been punched in both eyes and then had their right eye brow made thinner than the left!!

I made it to the train station on time today, after being sure I wasn't going to make it as the train I needed to catch was driving along side me just before I got to the station. The freezing rain didn't do me any favours, but I made it... barely.

Mate finished his bike. He's going to use it for stunts, so...yeah...it won't look that awesome for very long. It's looking like this - this is not his bike! The vinyls are quite similar, tho.
