Yesterday I qualified 3rd but got punted to 8th. I would definitely have won; my fastest lap was a full THREE seconds faster than anybody else.

This was on Maggiorre GT3, I was driving the Ferrari.

It's even worse when you intentionally get shunted on the last lap when in a good position........Anger got the better of me today after the third time, I am S on SR rating so am a clean driver but that third time he got to me. It was on Suzuka so managed to get on track and then launched my self before the final chicane at him to take him out. Two wrongs don't make a right but was fuming.......... oops

I belong in this club... It's happened multiple times. Usually because I'm not as sober as I was when I qualified.
Got the same problem, until i started using this livery. People mostly hold their distance

I can say that in almost all cases my losing the race is almost entirely my fault, no alcohol needed...I think the other drivers just pity me and don't harbour any ill will toward me.

Happened to me today. Thrilled to take pole and got pitted first corner. The guy that hit me was in 4th when we started braking.

More the type, qualified first row, lost connection in the first corner.

TBH, my fault, tried to play with poor network in my inlaws. Strangely never happened in my own place, same provider, same equipment, I guess my inlaws modem/router is somewhat bugged.

How does anyone get a pole? I'm Dr B and Sr S. If I have a good lap time, I get put with drivers in the top 10 if the world -_-

Drive it like you stole it, basically. Pull out of the pits late, so you have open track, take it nice and easy on the out lap, and then race as hard as you possibly can. You'll quite often slide off the track or slam into walls if you make the slightest error, but when you do get that 'golden lap' you have a very good chance of qualifying in 1st.

I was on pole on brands hatch. Got punted in two consecutive races. From 1st to 16..came 6th and 10th in the end... 3 lap race

Well basically you need to be faster than the others :D

But seriously DR is lower in selection than SR. And high SR drivers are generally faster. In SR:B I could get poles in DR D and C. Once I got SR:S I am stuck in the limbo of mediocricy between DR C and D always starting between 3-rd and and 9th and relevantly finishing the same... So it's simple - either drive faster or join the inferior grades :D

I am Dr B and Sr S too.. I get Poles only on Suzuka and Brands hatch.. Rest all circuits top 5 around I qualify.

haha qualified second on Brands Hatch yesterday and at the first turn hairpin, I got punted all the way down to 17th and it was difficult to reach other cars and even pass them.

Thanks for the 31 FIA points, assmunch...

The matchmaking in dailies is buggered, DR D's get slapped together with DR A and even S's therefor little to no chance for a DR D to advance.

Which is why I lowered my SR to get matched down against similar DR drivers so I'll have a chance at actually moving up in DR.

So you lowered your SR to get easier lobbies, to try to get your DR up for, errr, harder lobbies?

Well its down to personal taste. I prefer cleaner racing with similaly skilled oponents than higher driver rating. In the end this is my competence level I guess :)

I lowered my SR so that I could actually get a win or a pole in a race. I find driving around in 7-12th pretty damn boring. Once I feel like I'm a better driver, I'll worry about SR.

I have no goal to reach S/S, I just want to have fun. Having fun includes being able to win a race every once in a while. I can't beat the aliens

I'm a high DR:B and very rarely start pole. I just enjoy close racing. Usually for me that's for 4th through to 12th, sometimes lower. A win is nice but my wins have usually not been as much fun as the mid pack battles (provided they're clean lol).

I've dipped into DR:A and 9 times out of 10 get beasted and drop back down to B. I just race, and DR will be what it will be. I always strive to keep an SR:S

Basically every daily race goes like this

I run mediocre qualifying lap. I start 12th and finish 7th.

Then I requalify and run a much better qualifying lap. I get put in a room with much faster drivers and start 11th and finish 7th.

:/

Sometimes I qualify top 5, and I've been able to win races (4 so far). But now I'd really love a pole :/

I've even run the fastest laps in races, never qualifying though.

As for FiA races, I think my best starting spot is like 3rd or 5th.

I've had only one pole and this happened to me.

Had a new problem last night where my TV lost HDMI sync on my final lap of Mount Panorama, during turn 1...lost 10 seconds and a position because of it...would have been pissed if it was for 1st.

I noticed something considering matchmaking, I've had GTS since release day and reached SR S the third day I played sport mode and for the most part matchmaking has been working properly but in the past few weeks I've been put in with faster drivers. I logged onto my wife's PS4 account and got into sport mode and got to DR C SR S in a matter of 7 dailies races (same ratings as my own account) and after that matchmaking with DR C SR S has been working properly getting put in with mostly DR C's in most races, but with my own account i was getting put in with mostly DR A's and then some DR D's behind me.

I had that as well on Mount Panorama yesterday several times. It always happened near the start/finish, never in the mountainous section. Sometimes only the sound would cut out, yet about 6 times the screen went black for a few seconds. It happened in 2 races. I raced that track most of the day and all the other races it went fine.

I'm not sure it is the ps4 pro or the tv. (Sony X900E) yet after disconnecting the hdmi cable and putting it back in it didn't happen again. Sucks when you're approaching the breaking point for T1 and the screen goes black. I finished that race in 17th due to the the multiple black outs.
