BUMP :D

^The first shot is cool, but I'm not totally sure about what car I'm looking at. I love the details though, 7/10.
The second shot is also tastefully done, even for a standard car ;) 8/10.

Now for mine:

LFAfreeedit.jpg

You have no 🤬 idea how long it took me to get a backfire shot lol. I messed with the lighting a little bit in Picasa.

^^^ Really like the composition. Again, I am pretty sure, LFA is the best looking model in the game. I like pretty much everything in this pic, except maybe for the apperture. A bit too low IMHO. I would give it 9/10 ;)

From a 6 hour drift session with a friend of mine. M3 is mine.

@ tofujay ; the first pic is amazing , the back fire,filter car:tup:
i would say 9/10

what do you guys think?

Some images of my California at the Nurburgring, caught the flames a few times but sometimes they don't show when you take the final image?? It's seemed to tie in with the cars brake lights being lit up at the same time, no brake lights showed the flames, catch the brake lights on and no flames when you snap the image even though they show in the initial image.

All comments welcome, let me know what i'm doing wrong and where i could improve my shots using GT5's photomode.

@dandroid13 good color mix. good focus. nice contrast.
i just dont like too many cars that look exactly the same on one pic. On the other side it would not look as good as it is, with yellow and blue cars in it. (Suzuki, Impreza etc.)
8/10

@alex1369 Very nice picture! 8/10.
Maybe less contrast? Difficult to say. But i really like it.

I guess this is my best(or one of my best) out of 95 pics :)

Curious about your critics.

@tourist

The first and last pictures are nice, but the two in the middle could be composed much better.
Try to get your car in one of the corners, with the background ranging from your car, to far off, as you did with the last picture. This makes it much nicer to look at.
With the second picture, you could point the camera to the left, showing where the car came from, and possibly the cars behind it.

Further more, with the first picture, you could have turned the camera to show some of the road ahead, or get a different background behind the cars. Bland cliff isn't very nice to look at.

With the last pic (great camera angle here) you might have been able to pull off some motion blur, to hide the transition from GT's track to the background, and make the flat and uninteresting grass less obvious.
Try the different panning techniques to see if you can do it 👍
And if you don't really care too much for the car in the picture, to to use a similar premium car. they're nicer to look at :)

Overall I'd say:
A good start/10

I don't like giving number based ratings for pictures. I think they deserve a more complex rating than a number from 1 to 10.

@J3SHF

spending more time on fewer shots would be an improvement. Try getting the car in the corner of the picture, with the background going from where the car is, to far away on the upcoming track - or showing the track behind the car. Also try to take pictures at a brighter time of day. Can't really see much on your pictures. You could also try turning up the EV, but I don't know how that'll look when the scene is completely dark.
The best of your shots is definitely the last one. By far the best camera angle, and the cars lights are lighting up a lot of the picture.
Try wasting as little space as possible on your pictures. In lots of them, there's a lot of dark space, with nothing to see. The last one though is pretty good.

I'd say:
Pretty good at some points. Try focusing on wasting less space in the picture. Try out EV, and work with better camera angles and scenes / 10

Here's what I've got.

I realize they're very much the same, but I like each of them nonetheless :) (and I put a lot of time into each of them in photoshop :P )
My favorite has to be the last pic though. Everything just ended up so nicely. Love how the orange color blends with the bleak scene.
Proud of the final result :)

Thats the best of them in my opinion, you are right. I'd give it a 7,9/10
But my problem at your set was, I didn't really knew where to look at in the pictures, nothing really catched my eye. But thats always depending on the one who's looking at the picture.

Here is mine, just explored some new features and tools of my editing program. One is edited normally:

@korix
Great critics, thanks alot!
Point about cars is, i do care which one and i try to make them look as nice as possible. Problem is, the most cars i really like are standard :(

I cant say that much to your pics. They look very nice. But i agree, last one looks best. Very good contrast with this color on the McLaren.

I would say the view on the second one is a bit strange. Did you completly zoom out?
Sometimes this gives something like a fish-eye (you say that in english?:D) look. Can look good, but i would not use it in pictures like that.

The background on the first one is a bit too blurry imo.

@Hai-123
The lighting on the second one is much better imo.
But theres no movement. The pic is very static. Even for a pic :D ;)

One from my session yesterday. One of 30-45.. i alway get lost in my ideas... :dopey:

I really like the light-effects in the dust.

I'd like to hear some opinions about these two. I am somewhat doubtful about the composition and the lighting in the Ferrari shot.

^^^Very cool pic, the angle is realistic so that is a plus in my book to bad that the smoke causes jagged edges tho. 7/10

Excellent picture. I like how the trees frame the car without over-crowding it, and the lighting makes it very realistic. So 9/10 👍

I've posted this in my gallery, plus the competition, but I'll ask someone to rate it as well:

I know it's very dark, but that's the intention. I want to just hint at the presence of the car.

I think the setup looks really beautiful. And since you've deliberately set it up to just hint at the car's presence, I'd give it 8/10

That is awesome... might have to give something like this a try myself. Only criticism i can give you, and i am being very picky is that you should maybe have all of the car in, 9/10!

Now someone rate mine please, its nothing special... i just wanted to get the 'AVE IT in a picture, and what better car to use than the X2010!

It's a little dark, maybe up the exposure a bit, but otherwise the image is sharp, and certains spots on that photo look pretty real. Honestly better than half the stuff I try to take.

I'd say 8.5/10 👍

Tried to make a decent monochrome photo on this:

Attempts at realism (I posted this on the realistic photo thread too):
5463422340_72a2cc4afc_b.jpg

Critics? I'm trying to get them to look as realistic as possible.

MercilessOne I LIKE your 300SL 0.O 9/10 (Sorry, not really good at critisicm it looks real to me)...Maybe you should focus on the grill of the DB9 instead of the hood because it looks too blurry and clay-ish.

Thanks for the comment, blame it on my TV where it wasn't really dark as it is now :ouch:
