I like the pic, but the chrome makes the car blend in too much with the surroundings. just my take i'd say 7/10 👍

I dig the shot of the details, but it just doesn't do a whole lot for me. It's almost a bit boring. 7/10

I tried something a little different with this one, any thoughts?
I feel like I kinda screwed up with the filters/colors (it looked better on my TV lol).

I think that picture looks absolutely fantastic! My only gripe with it is that its cropped too close to the bottom and leaves a large blank at the top.. Definitely worth another try to frame it right! I'd give a solid 8/10

Speaking of filters.. thoughts?

Thanks! The reason I cropped it like I did was so that the Ferrari logo was in the center, but I'll probably try it again soon.

First ever post on GT Planet! - hope it works!!
@ evolvedsoul - love the idea of the pic, the lighting on the headlights and the road look great and to me give a sense of drama, just wished I could see more of the car. But I give it an 8 out of 10

Please can everyone give me any tips on mine, cheers

Can anyone tell me how to get the pic look more 'rainy'

Tried to get a sense of speed in this one, had to edit the pic to brighten up the car

Had a bit of a play around with photo mode today (still new to it only taken about 25 shots all up), here's a couple.

Comments constructive or otherwise welcome. 👍

1st shot is a bit too centered, but the second one is well composed (although panning a bit more to the left would make it perfect - and I mean a bit)
I'll have my first uploaded shot up tomorrow morning, it's late here :boggled:

Thanks for the comments, very much appreciated 👍.

Composure isn't my strong suit (I'm talking real life), at least GT5 will give me plenty opportunities to practise when I can't get outside.

I give the top a 6, and the botto a 8, really shows off GT5's reflections.

Not a fan of the 1st one, but thats my personal opinion, because a good closeup is not easy to create.
But I like the second one, delivers a feeling of racing. I'd say a 7/10

Now this is my very first uploaded Picture here, havent worked with the photomode that much, yet. If you can give me any tips, please feel free to do so, some of the pictures are just so damn fine. I want to make such pictures myself :D

Here it is, even though, I'm not a good drifter, nor do I really like to drift, but I'm a bit proud of it.

Well, IMHO there's 2 major issues: the car is a bit too centrered in your composition, and we don't really know where the focus point is. Perhaps a bit over exposed too, but there's a good feeling of speed so, 6.5/10 for me...

Here's mine:

highspeedring9x.jpg

I pretty much like all the GT-R pics! ;) And this is also nice too

but nothing special:guilty:

give you a 7/10 for it! :)

Err... ItwasnMe, doesn't it sound to you like a good idea to rate one or two picts before asking rates for 5?

Ok so maybe not 5 at once, sorry they've been gathering digital dust so I thought I would throw them all out at once!

Got loads more to come!

Yep, you're right: in fact, this photo is part of a series. If you see all of them, you know that the focused car is the orange one. But all by itself... nope!

Thanks for your coment.

@ ItWasntMe: I'm afraid I've been misanderstood. I tried to tell you that IMO you should write a coment BEFORE asking for a coment... ;)

Oh i see! Excusez Moi! :dopey:

Have to admit I love gundalini's 2nd GT-R shot. First one is a bit too crisp and clear, perhaps too wide a focal area. 2nd shot though is mighty impressive! 👍

Excusez Moi!

Je vous en prie, cher ami! :D

So:

Here's my favorite in your 5 shots.

I like the way your cropped the car, the perspective and the light. In the other hand, you let too many black at the foreground. You should have framed a bit higher... 7/10! ;)

any advice on how to make any of the pictures better?? i feel like these photos are the best of my abilities...i dont like the way the LMGT1 is positioned at Suzuka grid, i dont like the fireworks that the GTR are on, the black and white photo is kinda blury and not clear enough, and the tunnel photo with the GTR, i feel there is too much tunnel at the top.

the yellow bird photo i think is real cool, since i captured the drivers side wheel come off the ground.

OK...

The last guy who take the time to write a coment ask one for his pict. And then 3 people ignored his pict and just post 9 more picts... It's just like in real life: if you want to receive just give before...

But after all, I may be the one who's wrong, keep on asking and asking and asking...

i see real potential with that last GTR pic 👍
try sort of placing the camera higher and pointing it down to the car. And try playing around with the panning modes. i dont know if you wanted it to look like it was moving but not blurry, but put the camera at its slowest setting and put it on panning mode 3. that way the fire works would be clear and the car would look clear but still have that sense of speed :) try it and post it

Havent play with the photo mode too much, but after seeing some amazing shots in the forum, I would like to learn a bit more about this feature, any comments welcomed.
