8/10 for the Audi R8 photo. Really nice, but the edges of the photo seem a bit too dark to me. Could be just because the sun is in my screen though:D

I'll throw some in. Don't know if they get automatically resized so I would like to know how to do that if it doesn't happen.

Just started to use the full options on the camera and I don't have photoshop. But I would like to know how you think they look and how I could improve them.

I like the picture of the maserati, are the edges of the pictures meant to be blurred or not? 7.5/10

Tried to go for a realistic downhill shot, I think it paid off but hey, your the critiques

8/10 Overall looks great, but there's just something that find odd (Prehaps it's the horrible dirt texture, but I can't blame you for that)... but that's still a lovely pic. Looks pretty realistic too! ;)

Hmm... I'll give you a 8/10. Nice sense of speed and color, but prehaps not having the car in the center of the shot might make it look better (if you know what I mean). But still, a marvelous shot ;)

Something funky about the cropping, but I can't quite put my finger on it. The car isn't driving over the photograper, that's good. Always refreshing to see drift shots from different angles. 8/10

I think I see what PanzuDrift is talking about too. With the 1st shot the motion / direction of the car is a bit vague, it looks like there some smoke so it could be a bit of a drift or power slide around a corner but there wasn't enough of the track maybe to get idea of what the car was actually doing (perhaps if it were zoomed out more to show the track it'd give a better sense of where the car was going to / coming from). It's almost like the car is out of context is that makes sense?

The 2nd shot much better illustrates what I'm trying to say even though it's a different angle, you can see the touch of counter steering as the back end's trying to come around so you can see or imagine what led up to what's captured in the still image.

Solid picture, just a little too "off" for me.
(I really like, and regularly use odd angles myself. However, the photo has a very nice realistic look to it, and in my opinion the angle takes away from that realistic look...)


I missed the PMC this week - by less than an hour. :banghead:
After taking a good one hundred pictures using eight different cars (seven different models), one of these three would've been my submission choice.
Amazingly - it's a Standard car!

Nice 7.5/10, it looks good, but something about it bugs me and I think the car is a little too shiny and reflective. But very good!

Pretty good, 8.5/10, the road surface looks a little odd, and the car looks odd when it's drifting while the others are not. But I like the fog and the angle!

Nice, thats much better, less shiny. Can't see anything wrong with it except the spolier disappearing at the back. 9.5/10!

I like the glowing brakes but the angle could been better.

I would give your picture a 7.5/10. It has a very good use of the filter and shutter speed, however there is no main focal point. I would recommend moving the angle more to the right and capturing both cars from a similar distance.

I like the concept of older vehicles in the heat of battle very much, however, I don't think that the "heat of battle" feeling was quite captured in this picture. It might just be my opinion, but I feel no sense of speed. But, like I said, with some fine tuning of the camera options, blur effects could be used to help the viewer sense the speed. 6.5-7/10.

Now here is one of my more recent photos. Tried for interesting angle to capture the battle for first between two orange esprits.

I think it would've been better if you could see a bit more of the Espirit in the Background (or had a different colour for it) because to me it blends in a tiny bit.
