When Rimmer does the mind map to make him super intelligent to get on the holoship, Kryten says to Lister: "You must remember, sir, that he's operating on a completely different level to us now. To him we are the intellectual equivalent of..................."

Amateurs...

The answer is of course... "Science Teachers"...

Although, there was another word before it... Domestic, High School, errrr.... Something or other... I can't remember exactly...

;)

It was Domestic Science Teachers. (They teach "Home Economics" i.e. things like cookery, sewing, and other such "poppycock")

Science Teachers, would be a seemingly respectable profession to "High IQ" Rimmer with his grasp of poly-di-deca-heli-hexa-hadrons! fffffffffffff!

Kryten, I was just thinking. Assuming of course we're not dealing with five-dimensional objects in a basic Euclidean geometric universe and given the essential premise that all geo-mathematics is based on the hideously limiting notion that one plus one equals two, and not as {Astemeyer} correctly postulates that one and two are in fact the same thing observed from different precepts, ffffffffffffff. the theoretical shape described by {Siddus} must therefore be a poly-dri-doc-deca-wee-hedron-a-hexa-sexa-hedro-adicon-a-di-bi-dolly-he-deca-dodron. ffffffffffffff. Everything else is popycock. Isn't that so?

Got to do it properly! :D

^ Tell me you did that from memory without watching the episode & transcribing it and I'll be really impressed!

So Delphic Reason, you got another question for us?

Go ahead... I have to go to work, and I don't think I'll have time tonight...

Alas, no I didn't. I found the entire script for that episode on Google.

As for the question, was he a flight officer?

I guess I can give you that, Catering Officer was his official title, but since Lister took the Chef's exam to become a Catering Officer, we can conclude that they're one & the same!

From THE END:-
Lister "...and why's it so dirty around here Hol? What is this stuff?"
*pokes his finger into little pile of white dust and puts it in his mouth*

Holly "That is Catering Officer Olaf Petersen."

*Lister spits on the floor* "I've been eating 'alf the crew!"

I can't think of a difficult question and since I've got to get up for early work here is an easy one in the episode parallel universe what dream was Cat trying to find in the dream recorder

Famine
Which means he outranks Rimmer... :D

"That's, Yes Mr. Lister, Sir!" :D

725 it's your question mate! *edit* oops, sorry, you've just posted it!

And the answer is:-

The one involving Cat, 3 females and a family size tub of banana yoghurt!

One of them was "Die screaming with sharp things stabbing you in the head" or something. The other was revenge of the (Insert something horrible here).

Ok, that question has been up a while, and DQuaN is about 60% correct, which is close enough!

"Revenge of the Mutant Splat Gore Monster"
"Die Screaming with Sharp Things In Your Head"

Your go DQuaN!

I just thought of this question, and i'm not sure of the answer. I'm sure we can all work it out.

How many times have each of the crew been killed/destroyed?

Well, Rimmer died at the very start of series 1 in the cadmium leak.
Kryten supposedly crashed into an asteroid on Lister's space bike to account for the change in actor/model.
Then the entire crew were killed at the end of Series....6? But then are revived and Lister destroys several comcorders trying to explain how it happened.

So that's...1 death and one destruction for Rimmer?
1 destruction for Kryten,
1 death each for the Cat and Lister.

I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

I can think of a few more.

The "High" versions of Cat & Kryten are shot by the "Lows"

The "High" versions of Rimmer & Lister are killed by remote controlled Lister. (Crushed Lightbee & stabbed, respectively)

The "Low" Lister is shot by the real Cat.

The alternate Kryten & Lister in are killed by the Inquisitor.

I'm now too confused to think of any more. All the highing & lowing has made me dizzy.
