So far we have:

Series I:
Petersen's arm.
"Confidence"

Series II:
Rimmer's brain (in Better Than Life)
The Outland Revenue man (same as above really, but deserves a mention)

Series III:
The Polymorph
Frank Rimmer (Timeslides)
Hudzen

Series IV:
Not-Barbra Bellini (Simulant, Justice)
The Curry Monster
Wax Droids (including Caligula)
Lister (Rimmer's Light Bee)

Series V:
The Inquisitor
Rimmer's self-loathing
Dr Langstrom
Rimmer & Mr. Flibble - and Cat, Kryten & Lister beating each other up. Quarantine.
The "Low" Red Dwarf crew
Lister & Cat, under the influence of the "Low" Red Dwarf crew
The Despair Squid

Series VI:
Psirens
Legion
Red Dwarf crew trying to knock themselves out (Legion)
Emohawk
"The Armageddon Virus"
The two simulants who transmit the Armageddon Virus.
War, Famine, Pestilence and Death in Gunmen of the Apocalypse
Mr Jimmy, Frank, Nuke and Bearstrangler McGee - and three un-named bar patrons.
The Future Red Dwarf crew

Series VII:
"The Wife" (Ouroboros)
Epideme

Series VIII:
Pete the Sparrow
A dispensing machine (Only the Good)
Prison guards (Cat talking...)
The Canaries. Repeatedly.
Cassandra.

I just thought!

In the last ever episode, the coffee machine lobs a can of something(coke?) at Rimmer, knocking him out.

Oh, and Rimmer get's blown up when he punches a crate of explosives.

The Gelfs, in the episode where they encouter Kochanksi from an alternative universe (series 7 I think).

on of the C.A.N.A.R.Y's (Baxter) forces Cat's head into a food dispenser, and orders hot Bovril, before crushing his fingers.

and Baxter (along with another inmate) start's beating up Lister and Rimmer, but because it's a delayed reaction, they don't start suffering blows until they're in the Captains office.

Ok then,

there's Legion (Laser scapel through the hand)
Kryten knocking out Cat, Kryten knocking out Lister. Kryten beating Rimmer repeatedly with no effect, Rimmer pulling out his own light bee (if that counts.) in the same episode.

If so, then there's the part in Meltdown where Lister swallows Rimmer's light bee which could be considered harmful to both of them!

The simulant who escapes from Babs Bellini's pod.

The male & female simulants who transmit the armageddon virus.

War, Famine, Pestilence and Death in Gunmen of the Apocalypse, along with Mr Jimmy & his cronies. Then the whole bar in the ensuing brawl.

Speaking of brawls, there's the barfight in Backwards, and specifically the guy whose pie Cat & Lister have uneaten.

The incident in series 2 is probably Lister & Cat breaking their feet with Lise Yates' tombstone..... or could be Rimmer's psyche smearing them in jam, burying them in sand and waiting to be eaten by ants.....

Caligula repeatedly slapping Lister each time Cat speaks in Meltdown.

Cat, Kryten & Lister beating each other up in Quarantine.

This is from memory, could probably think of more if I had time to watch any Dwarf, but we're working our way through the Family Guy DVDs at the moment.

Still need more?.....

*edit* Does Holly getting Lister blown up when he plugs in the white wire instead of the yellow one, in Future Echoes count?

There's also a reference in The End, to Lister jumping on Rimmer's foot, which Rimmer calls mutiny.

Rimmer's brother Frank beating up Lister in Timeslides.

We see home video of a young Rimmer being tied up and covered with ants by Frank, John & Howard in Polymorph.

Lister breaking Cat's tooth in Future echoes.

Howzat?;)

*edit* Just thought of the thing that Famine is probably wanting for Series II.
Outland Revenue! "Now where's those little thumbies!"

Smallhorses

None of these count, since there was no attempt to injure - in the case of Backwards, the injuries were already there and the unrumble removed them. So, funny though it is, it doesn't count... :D

And these don't count either - young Rimmer isn't a member of the crew and, though it's referred to, we never see Lister's attempt to injure Rimmer, which is a pity.

Nearly there though - still a couple I can think of from Series VIII.

When the crew start their jail terms, don't the guards beat the cat up for talking without permission? (on Mr Ackermans orders I think.)

Oooh, that's a good one... I'd say "no", based on the "attempt to injure" clause I put.

Can we limit Famine's questions to a single series in future?!!!! Having to try and remember things from 52 episodes simultaneously gives me brain-ache! :P

*edit* Can we count Petersen smacking himself in the head in The End?

Also the Real Lister, and Real Cat attacking the rest of the crew while being controlled by the "Lows" spinal implant in Demons & Angels

I've only got two left I can think of.

1. Petersen's Arm... (I know, I know...)
2. Cassandra (who tries to get Lister to kill "Arnold" because she knows Lister will kill her by accident).

I think I'll give the next question to Smallhorses, seeing as he got so many in one post... :D

Argh damn! I was thinking of Cassandra, but I decided against it. :banghead:

Think that's a little harsh to DQuaN and TVRking since they both got the ball rolling! Maybe their brains need less warming up time than mine! Or it could just be the 8 hour time difference!
Anyway, just got in from the W word that Cat won't do, to find its my go.....hmmmm. Have to think for a while. Can't give you something easy after Famine's fiendish question can I?
By the way are you going to complete the list in post #781 for us? It'd be nice to see what your overall list looked like.

Going to try & come up with something so you folks will have something to wake up to tomorrow......:mischievous:

*edit* Ok, lets try this. Not too difficult, but must insist on an absolutely correct answer.

What is Bongo's full title? ;)

TVRKing
Admiral Sir James 'Bongo' Tranter.

Getting better, I was thinking along the lines of what's written on his desk sign.
All 8 words. And strangely "Bongo" isn't one of them. Don't know quite why they call him Bongo?

I don't want to ask the next one, but it's Admiral Sir James Tranter - Admiral of the Fleet.

Famine
I don't want to ask the next one, but it's Admiral Sir James Tranter - Admiral of the Fleet.

👍 Ok then, since Famine has shirked asking responsibilities (and after that last question aren't we all glad! :P  ) I'll award the next question to TVRKing since he more or less got the first bit....
Anyway, more of the W word beckons so I'm off for 8 hours or so....

Complete this converstation.

Kryten " They've taken Mr Rimmer. SIR, THEY'VE TAKEN MR RIMMER!!"

Cat "Quick, lets..........

again I appologise if this has already been asked. I never did go and check back through 41 pages of fun trivia.

OK..... Starbug has crashed more times than a ZX-81. First person to list all the times its crashed :)

Once, in Bodyswap

Once, in Backwards

Once, in Back to Reality

Once, when Ace Rimmer collides with it. (forgot the name of the episode)

Once, in Psirens

Once, when it crashes into the psi-moon (again can't think of the episode)

Once, in the pilot epsiode of series 8

Once, when Lister and Rimmer become stranded (was the episode called Marooned? )

That's all I can think of so far. :)

I think that's most of them!

Only a couple more I can think of.

It actually crashes twice in Backwards, once on the way out of Red Dwarf, and once on the backwards earth.

It also crashes into the lava planet at the end of Gunmen of The Apocalypse, but then resurfaces.

I assume you mean "Horsey to king bish 3" :P

"Queeg: Pawn to King four
Holly: Horsey to King Bish three
Rimmer: It's called a Knight Holly..."
