freshseth83500 cv is more than hp.
Well, Anthony has been competitive... And the limit has been at 502Hp, so it can't be too much of a advantage.
freshseth83500 cv is more than hp.
In French (Cheval-vapeur), Italian (Cavalli Vapore), Spanish (Caballos de vapor), and Portuguese (Cavalo-vapor), CV is the equivalent to the German, PS. It is also used as the French term for the Pferdestärke, but in French, this should be written in lowercase letters as cv.
freshseth83It all depends if he's running the french unit of measurement, or if it's the equivalency of 'PS'. This is from wikipedia-

502bhp in this conversion is 509cv.
I checked a few other converters and got the same result.
So Anthony has been driving with about 4Hp less than he could be using?
That is my point, I dind't know because I never saw that I use CV...
I don't think that's the case. It's likely they get the same power as everyone else because the room is set to a power limit. It's up to that person's car to hit that limit, regardless of the power unit. If I go to an international room, I never see on the regs 500cv or 500KW or 500PS as a limit on the power. Even in Japanese and German rooms.

So, I think the easiest solution would be to do this;
Give DP cars 2 more HP, so they're at the room limit. Then Anthony could just put his car on the limit- problem solved!
paulmac2k9For next season you should also put GTs to a room limit to check all cars for legality 👍. Before anyone says stuff about trust etc, every series does it.
1 CV = 1.01387 HP so if he's running 500 CV he's basically got MORE power, not less. It'd equal 506.9hp and if the room is 502hp and he runs 502CV that means he'll be running 508.9hp... 1 CV (cavallo vapore) = 735.49875 watts, 1 HP = 754.6999 watts. You do the math if mine is wrong.

The units "horsepower" and "CV" are both measurements of power. CV, short for "cheval vapeur" (essentially, horsepower in French) is itself just another name for the metric horsepower. By contrast, horsepower in the United States is based on the British system of measurement. Horsepower and CV are very close in value. One horsepower is equal to about 1.01 CV; thus, it is slightly larger. For a scientific conversion, a calculator is handy.
Seth I'm afraid you are wrong..

There is more in the link.
Edit: I love math etc. So my brain is cool with this convo.
I may be wrong, so that's why I said someone else do the math. It's all confusing. Either he's got 507hp or 493hp, there's not too much difference from 500hp.
