yay, i learned to drift, the S15 with only 301hp, and sims all around.... to the beginners do not use cars with high horsepower, its pretty much worthless when drifting.... yup thats all i gotta say

yep thats true as a beginner u yhave to use a standart cars learn from it then after u become great then put some tuning then try drift with it ..k ;)

my s15 get sideways better with 300 hp instead of my old 288....whenn it had 288 i had a hard time geting it sideways....the only way i could was by feint or sidebrake....

for lower hp to 550-600 i use sims... if its over 600 i pick slick, soft, or medium depend on the car... i usually run soft for high hp... if its like a 1081hp GT-R i run Super Soft... but all my drift car are around 600 or under so.. i use sims...

I can drift a 1200HP Skyline....and tha's bout it..other than that anything over 600 better be AWD and have crazy traction and major body roll..or else i'm not making it

wow...my trueno goes sideways just with a tap of the gas while steering. enter turn w/out accelerator, partly thru, just hammer it...

I agree with you drifter... 86 is the easiest car and best for beginner to use... Either N/A or Turbocharge the car... it still drift good... my 86 has 301hp its turbocharged... sims fully modified... and its crazy... i still love my Mugen S2000 tho... ;)

i dont know for you guys, but when i started drifting, i use a fully modified R34, with super soft tires, and some drift setting akina give me, it work fine for me now, but man if i knew about this forum and that they have GTplanet, i would come here, i knew about this like 4 months late, but its still good

You're right exhaust_note. The 207hp AE86 in my sig is an SS version, but I'm rebuilding the 157hp one I was talking about. It was turned into a race car when I restarted my game, so after i didn't need it anymore, I sold it and bought a nice fresh new one.
