2 by trailer homes but they were parked no action at all. They were beaten up just like the ghost cars.
Do you remember where? Was it in Las Venturas city itself or somewhere else in the area?

If it was in a trailer home then it might be the one I mentioned already opposite the Lil Probe Inn. If not, then I'd like to find it if you can remember where.

I was too busy evading the police but it was pretty far out in the desert.

I just witnessed a random plane crash for the first time. I was heading back to the Four Dragons Casino after completing a mission, and heared several explosions from behind. I thought "hey neat! A plane crash!" so I turned around to see and saw the carcass of a plane, and a few cars that had also exploded. At first I thought the plane was a stunt plane, for it had the double wing set, but when I inspected it more closely that it wasn't. It was a plane I havn't seen before. It had some sort of spiney teeth coming from the bottom wing, I'm guessing like some sort of a crop duster. Has anyone seen a plane like this?

There's a crop duster on a farm to the south west of Las Venturas. But I don't think it's got those double wings.

About the Ghost Glendales:

Despite what has been posted already in this thread, the claw marks on the Ghost Glendales are not unique to those cars. I've noticed them on cars I'm driving just by bumping into other driversa and seeing similar claw damage marks on my car. So I don't think they're really claw marks.

However, I don't think it's a coincidence that those Glendales have been found spawning in locations (3 confirmed so far) that relate to the map marks on the Lil Probe Inn map.

I think there's something about those cars that relates to a secret in the game. I think that in the other locations there's either similar Glendales or something else that relates to something bizarre hidden in the game.

Yep, I believe they are there for a reason. Something secret.

the crop duster is north of the rock quarry in a field . its no big deal.

I was just doing the "Country Endurance" race, and I was forced to drive underneath a crashing plane. I made it, by inches, and right after I drove under it it started blowing up.

Man, I think this Bullet is faster than I give it credit.

Found another ghost Glendale. Valle Ocultado(sp?)

There's one in a car park there, check it out.

It could be possible that the glendale locations form something, a pattern or maybe even an arrow or something you could create that points at something.

Just a thought. :)

Yep, I went there and found it. Buggers up my theory though. There's no mark on the Lil Probe Inn map for there.

Im still intrigued though.

That map means something. It may be nothing to do with those Glendales, but it means something.

i was just doing a mission this morning, and i need to find a 4 door car. so i go looking and see this red car by a gas station and think to myself,"JACKPOT!!" i go closer to see if it was 4 doors, i see its all banged up and a glendale!! i haul-ass out of there and try to find another car. i didnt bother seeing if it had claw marks. if i never read this forum, i would have used it. i see it again in a different mission, and that time it was blue

DrogoGTO
Or, if your really want it, you could just use another car to push it into your garage. At least thats what I did. Its quite a cool car.
its even cooler if you take it to transfender and put mega rims on it

Yeah i agree with KM. Theres gotta be some kind of secret to this game that we have'nt found out yet. With Ghost cars, rumours of Bigfoots and UFO's. theres something out there, he he.
Also heres a pic of a random plane crash i saw.

I noticed that in the country, behind different houses / trailer parks there are alot of these glendales banged up, scratched....has anybone thought that rockstar might be doing that becasue in the country you are bound to see beat up cars in driveways than in the city ?

What I'd like to know is this....

Has anyone actually been chased by the so called Ghost Cars or did they just hear the rumour about it and make up a story about being chased? Because I've hopped in and out of several of them and driven them around and no-one has come chasing me as a result.

People have also said they are indestructable, I smoked one with a Heat Seeker Launcher, blew that sonofa***** to kingdon come !

I'm starting to think that more and more. But I find that map very curious. There's something weird somewhere and I want to know what...

I might go visit some other GTA forums and see if anyone can accurately confirm any of the yeti / phonebooth / etc. stories or if it's just more of the usual internet nonsense.

But I'll probably wait till I've finished the main plot of the game at least.

OK something really needs to be cleared up about the Glendales. Did the people who claimed to be chased by them actually get chased, or were they just standing in front of the one that moves and thought they were getting chased? Awfully worded sorry.

Also my thoughts are that the Glendales are just battered, not claw marked. They don't look very different at all the normal damage, although i haven't tried to recreate the damage personally yet on another Glendale.

Well I found a "ghost car" but it wasn't a glendale. It was a old pickup with the same beat up marks. Nothing spooky about it. Just the tailgate is gone and the license plate is still in the middle of nothing. Probably a glitch.

Well I went ghost car hunting the other night, and lets just say they were no match for my Rhino, hehe :sly:.

I've noticed damage on some cars I'm driving looks just like the so called "claw marks " on the Glendales. So I think it's just normal damage.

I'd like to hear more from people who have claimed to have them chase them though. I've been hopping in and out of them in different locations and nothing whatsoever interesting has happened. I've driven them around Flint County, the desert, etc. But so far, nada.

Can you elaborate? Did you chase one? Did one chase you?

Or did you just drive into one parked somewhere which exploded or maybe you shot one parked somewhere with the turret? Which wouldn't be very exciting or interesting really.

Are you talking about the bobcat near the abandoned airsrtip, near the sea sparrow and abandoned house?

No it's behind a beat up barn/house. It's right next to the highway in Red Country. Had the so call claw marks. I can see how people could be convinced as they are claw marks. It looks like they are. But if they aren't what are they? There must be a reason to have uncommon damage. I say uncommon because when I get a car it does not inflict that kind of damage.

I've seen that damage on loads of cars I've crashed which is why I don't think it's uncommon damage. So all this Ghost Car business may be just a wild goose chase. I'd still like to hear confirmation of these so called Ghost Cars chasing someone.

KM.

I said uncommon not unique. I remember you saying you inflicted that damage to a car yourself and I have not. Again, uncommon.
