You can paint a 1st-gen Viper in GTS blue?

Yep. You only get the GTS Blue chip from the regular '13 Viper GTS without stripes, though. The GTS Launch Edition doesn't give a chip. If you're poor, Hyundai Genesis "Shoreline Drive Blue" is pretty close, and unlinke many blues, it keeps the stripes white instead of black. The '02 Viper in the foreground has the Hyundai blue:

I'm a bit confused since I don't have the game yet, for the 2013 vipers (excluding the launch edition or what ever the one with the livery is called), if you paint it do the stripes come off or stay on? Cause I want to paint a '13 SRT viper Orange with black stripes and I want another one painted purple with no stripes.

All you really need to do is to make sure the lighting is good, and when you get them to your PC, find some editing software or look online (Paint.net and GIMP are popular.) and you can have some great pics.

I only just touch-up my photos, and I think they look pretty good.
