Ah ok but it's actually quiet common for german breweries producing softdrinks besides the beer. Paulaner Spezi exists since the 1970s.
Mind you it wasn't any kind of criticism. It was more along the lines of "I know them for beer but apparently beer isn't the only thing they produce."

Don't know how some folks stand the flavor of Cherry Pepsi, I don't like it and never have.

I’ve been trying a few things:

Mountain Dew Baja Midnight. Only at Taco Bell. It’s pomegranate over a citrus base. It’s designed to go with anything on the Taco Bell menu.

Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning. Only at KFC. Sweet peach and honey flavored.

Mountain Dew Trolli. Based on the candy, it replaces the VooDEW mystery flavors of the past few Halloweens. Cherry and Lemon flavor. It’s only available as a Zero Sugar soda. Despite this, each can has ten calories.

Nice flavors, I bet those are big sellers to the company.

Have you tried anymore Mountain Dew flavors?

I haven't looked on their website yet, but I saw in your last post where you said you tried the Mountain Dew Baja Midnight, Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning, and the Mountain Dew Trolli. There might be some more added flavors coming next year though for you to try and enjoy.

Honestly, when I look at carbonated soft drinks all I see are legal drugs. That’s not to say I don’t dabble occasionally.

Seems to me like it’s fine to gulp down mass amounts of sugar freely while nicotine products are regulated to adults, understandably. But I’d wager that mass sugar intake is as deadly as smoking or vaping albeit without the same regulation.

I’ve always been a fan of pop, so this isn’t an attempt to preach about health and what not, but there’s a lot of hypocrisy and bodily damage done by the soft drinks industry, as much as I would expect it to be on par with the alcohol industry for standards and regulation.

I’m an alcoholic and an infrequent pop drinker so I have no dog in this fight. I would prefer that the dangers of pop consumption on a regular would be acknowledged for what it is; a harmful dietary option when consumed regularly.

Is it me, or do zero sugar versions of certain drinks mostly taste horrible?

I tried a zero sugar version of this Hong Kong bottled drink that I liked quite a lot (Vita Lemon Tea) and it was unbearable compared to the original.

And I make no secret of my strong dislike of Coke Zero.

Probably the most addicting soft drink I've ever had. I've cut down on soft drinks though (mainly the sugary ones), and only have the occassional Pepsi Max/Monster Zero Ultra now.

Zero sugar pops are nasty tasting. There’s no substitute for real sugar. But most drinks these days contain sugar replacements and sweetners that are no better for one’s health.

sugar free pop is like alcohol free beer. What’s the point?
