For sodas, my favorite is usually Root Beer and I don't typically care about the brand. Though I will say my favorite mainstream brand of Root Beer is Bargs, Mug is in 2nd place. I also really love Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb as sodas. I'm not really too hyped on regular Coca Cola and Pepsi like some people are. I enjoy them of course, but most of the time I drink them if there's no other soda options.
While I'm talking about cola, I will say that I really enjoy Cherry Coke & Wild Cherry Pepsi along with Vanilla Coke. The flavors added to colas make them more compelling to me. With that said, I have tried a Chocolate Coke once when I was a kid and didn't quite like that. I think for chocolate flavoring, I think I'll only mix it with coffee and milk for now on.
One soda I was really late into trying was Mountain Dew, I didn't have my first glass of Mtn. Dew until a few years ago. I think I didn't try it as a kid because I always thought it looked like slime and thus would taste yucky. It's not too bad though, I really enjoy the Code Red flavor now and I liked Baja Blast.
Lemon Line soda brands like 7up and Sprite are things I don't have often unless I'm sick. Usually when I'm sick though, I'm just drinking water, juice, or tea. Now for Cream Soda, I think that tastes amazing, but I don't have it as often as other drinks on the count I keep forgetting it exists. I guess when there's so many kinds of "pop" out there, you lose track sometimes.

My favorite soft drink to have that isn't soda is Sweetened Iced Tea, plain or lemon flavored. I don't like raspberry flavored though.
