Will be good mate indeed! I'm a bit rusty... What kinda times are people posting? I'll get an Evora ready too.

Had a crack last night. 1:23.451 after a few laps. I suppose its gonna depend on what car you choose. You should have an Evora specced already, as its the same spec as we used in the 24 laps of Le mans race.

Am I using the right track? I got 1:55's on the sports soft in practice mode.:scared:

Im talking about your event Gary. haha. And I meant 23.451, that was a typo.

CHRIST you had me very F:censored:g worried there.

My best in my S2K is 1:25.2. I've put in track time, but haven't really practiced with a setup I'm 100% with, if you get my meaning?

Ade the evora has too much CC (should be round 3.2L)

the 111R will be the "unfair car" of the night thought. Its only got 1.8L

Cars I considered that also didn't work:
-All BMW
-Audi TT
-Nissan R32-R34 GTR, Fairlady Z
-Lotus Evora, Esprit
-NSX

the 2.5L is a good value to keep out most of the unfair cars. Some fun but slower ones sadly get the axe as well. I was in the mood for the Fairlady Z or the BMW 135i. Guess I'll settle for either Evo IX or RX7

I'm coming with this one, but with black rims.

And to make it even more fun I unplug the ABS. :)

The primary reason for the 2.5litre rule was to stop people abusing Nissan skylines:sly:
The Audi TTS is 2litre and eligible, but it is quite late in the day to make a switch. It'll be good to have you:tup:

God you're brave

23.471 in the RX-7 Spirit R
23.5xx in the GT86
22.98x in the 111R (gokart thing's got grip!)

understeer city in anything 4wd

GC Gary's race was good fun tonight. A good mixture of cars on the grid. I did eventually opt for the Elise, but only after seeing Thirds practice times in the RX7 in the lobby. It did seem though that the Elise did have a big advantage in the race, and I had to pit once to repair broken suspension, so my second place did feel a bit hollow. Fuel my fire owned the race though, so congrats to him.👍👍

Afterwards we ran a few laps at Monza in the newly specced Evora. Heres the results...

Racing Hard.

HASSLEMOFF...1:50.298
THIRD_REIGN...1:50.380
ADE3210...1:51.141
GC255...1:53.201
ROSENLUNDAREN...1:54.770

Sport Sofrt.

THIRD_REIGN...1.53.580
ADE3210...1:53.790
GC255...1:57.181

These are the first Monza times, and Hasslemoff is the pace setter on the racing hard tyre, with Third topping the table on the sport soft.

Thanks to everyone who came along to my race, I hope you enjoyed it. I certainly did. 👍
It's a model I would like to refine so I am happy to take any advice/criticism, but I do want to keep it casual. So people can test themselves, rather than compete against one another. But it's still nice to have company doing it.

Big thanks to ade for letting me post it in his thread 👍👍👍

Well, as it was my wedding anniversary yesterday, I couldnt make any track time, but tonight I will be having some practice. I will open a lobby at 8.00pm and if theres a good turn out we will run 2x10 lap races. 1 on the RH, and then another on the SS, with reverse grid.

Real good practice session tonight. Some awesome times set at Monza. Third is the pace setter now on both tyres.

I enjoyed the race! :) Like the casual touch and the heavy damage setting. 👍

Had to rush off from Monza and take care of kids who woke up. Looking at current lap times I can see that I have some time to shave off...

My highlight from last night's practice:

Cobani: "What do you call an intense focus but feeling loose?"
GC255: "Diarrhea?"

As promised last week, heres a selection of pics from last Sunday's race at Indy.

11 Evora's ready on the grid.

Coming through T1 after the overtake, Goodwolf gets on the power a little too early.

After 36 laps, my Evora crosses the finish line in 5th place,

Im looking forward to next Sunday's race, and practice so far has shown that the upgraded Evora does carry the extra power and grip very well. The car feels great here, but mistakes at Monza will be brutal. One foot on the grass can throw the car around straight away, and with several sand traps there's plenty to think about. The pressure is on Gary, Dan and Bo, as the fight for the championship goes down to the wire. My tactics for the race......Deploy smoke screen in the early laps :D:D:D

Great stuff Ade, can't wait for the smoke screen!

How about the pressure on the championship contenders ... Dan is expected to win, but Gary is leading the championship. Imagine the pressure those guys must feel ... For me, I've been in this boat twice allready ... I'll manage. :)

Best of luck to Mister Matte Black and Mister Red ... you'll need it. :trouble:
Yours sincerely,
Mister Orange
