Excellent racing at Monza, great battles throughout the race, but not such a great finish for me. :sick: Why is it always nose first into barriers :crazy:

Awesome pics Captain 👍👍👍 Love the one of your muddy tyres. Time to shake the mud off now though. I cant believe we are already nearing the last race of S3. I hope you all have enjoyed it as much as I have enjoyed hosting it. Practice sessions will resume from this Friday at 8.00pm, and Sat and Sun. Suzuka, here we come !!!!!

Don't know if I'll make Sunday's practice, might be spending the night in hell, the green hell to be a bit more precise! A Grill, Beer, and a night full of engine noises blasting by will be my fuel.

I really enjoyed the race at Monza on Sunday! I'll try and write my own race report when I get the chance!

My race got off to a rough enough start as I had a false start and then lost control under braking so to not hit socal hence why I had to take a detour around the first corner. To be honest I can't really remember a whole lot of the race apart from the fact that I had some great battles involving Cpt D and Fuel as well as Third, by the way, sorry Third, I know our fight got a little too physical at times so I apologize for that.

It was a super fun race but all the battling did cost me a huge amount of time, before I made my second pitstop I was up as far as 5th so I knew the pace was there, I just lost too much time battling and wrong pit strategy cost me the result on the day. But that's racing and there is still one race left to end on a high note before Season 4 and then GT6. 👍

When will the new series kick off? off sundays so wouldn't be a problem attending. An a few of this group know me from TCR ( Keep your mouth closed Gary!) lol If theres room on sunday i might pop along to watch a few laps, if thats ok and theres room of course.

Hey mate, The new series will probably kick off after GT academy has finished, and will finish just in time for GT6 launch. Why not get yourself an Evora specced and join us for practice over the weekend. 👍👍👍
 
If i'm alive i might do, working 11pm till 7am on friday then helping my sister move on saturday morning. I might not be very awake! lol but will try and show up. Full spec evora with all extras?

Race number 7 finished now, nearly a week ago, so I finally got around to getting some of my own pictures done.

Everyone! The car has a full tank, so we're packing the explosives in a suitcase! Life is short, and there are many dangers on the roads we travel!

Awesome pics Gary, and some great quotes aswell. Thanks for reminding me of my "Ramble". Looking forward to tonights first timed outings at Suzuka. I had a few laps in practice mode this week, and managed a 2:06.5xx on the RH tyre. I reckon with a bit more track time and a bit of slip, 05's are possible, even high 04's. With 28 laps, these times would give us a race time of just under the hour mark. As its the grand finale, and a bank holiday weekend I am considering extending the race. 36 laps would give us roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes of racing. What do you guys think????
 
An hour fifteen would push those on a one stop to the brink. It'd even the strategy if nothing else. It would make the finish that much later for those that get up Monday morning though.

Its not set in stone yet, just seeing what everyone thinks. It could even be 32 laps, giving us just over the hour.
 
So Ade, if I was available for the last race could I attend? Using the same rules as before for points? I had such a blast at Monza 👍. I completely understand if you wanna keep it just containing the members seeing as this is the final round and everything :)

Would still require 8 laps for 25% on the option tyre. It doesn't necessarily have to be a multiple of 4.

Yes 8 laps min on the option tyre would work, as it more than covers the 25% minimum amount required. 👍👍
 
The first benchmarks have been set after tonights practice. The RH tyre was the only one we used in this session. Weescotman joined us as a guest for this practice. But it was Dan who proved he has green skin and beady eyes again. Another session will be happening tomorrow at 8.00pm.
