Awesome Ade!

I did my best on the championship-pictures and came up with the following sequence ... please feel free to add pictures if you fancy it (render in high resolution), because I've seen some stunning images flying past in this thread. 👍

These will also be shared on my (racing)facebook where you may also comment or vote for your favorite shots. Thank you. 👍

I was just browsing forums, looking for event with less powerful cars, when i found this. Sadly it's over, but i hope for new season soon-ish, i would like to join. :)👍 Looks like bunch of fun from the pics!

I think that they are all fantastic shots, big thanks to Bo for taking the time to capture them. I am planning on taking a few pics myself during this week.

In other news. Before SC3 started we ran the 24 laps of Lemans race, and after that I promised to do another endurance race using the final spec Evora. I will post details of this event later in the week, so keep checking the thread for details.

Now that S3 has come to a close, and I have a bit of spare time, I am going to take advantage of someone elses hospitality and join the TCR lads on Friday evening. The event sounds like fun, a Pikes Peak inspired hill climb time trial.

Well, this was a pretty exciting race for me. I started off with missing the braking point for turn 1 and ended up back in 7th place. Then I dropped back a couple more places to 9th a lap or two later. Was all uphill from there. Worked my way past people on the S3s while I was on the R1s, made it up to 3rd, pitted on lap 11 for S3s, came out of the pits in front of Gary. Had a great battle with Gary at the end of my S3 stint. 👍 On my 3rd and final stint we went at it again almost. I was about to take 3rd place when disaster struck, was smashed off the track by a spinning car at 130R. That's racing. Held on to 4th place at the end.

As always, great fun guys, here's some pics. 👍

Ade: I’m honored to be a part of your event. Thank you for your efforts and engagement! Hopefully we will experience a new season after the summer but I’m also hoping for what new possibilities GT6 can give King Ade as a Cup maker.

All Sunday Cuppers: As a provider of a family of three small kids (and a wife), a demanding job and everything else that is supposed to be done I have found a place and fellowship that I value very much. I appreciate your welcoming attitude and even if I’m always fighting for not being lapped, I feel that I have a place at the grid.

Actually I did a simple test to see if I have developed my racing skills by doing some in-game races like license and A-spec, and the results shows that I have. You all have a part of that – thanks! :)

This last race at Suzuka was a disaster for me. Enough said about that.

Thank you Rosen as well!
I love seeing you on the track because of your dedication. Keep up the good work and improve even further. 👍

AMAZING pics as always!

Mental note to myself: In the future races try to be as close as possible to Rob.

Rob, Awesome pics mate. I am glad you enjoyed the racing and hope to see you back for some more.👍👍👍

As Goodwolf said, its always a pleasure to race with you Rosen. You have been in from the start, and there will always be a place on the grid for you. If my series has helped you develop your racing skills, then that is great.👍👍👍 Thanks for your kind word's mate, and rest assured I will be keeping the Sunday Cup going into GT6.

Rob, amazing pictures! Really great!
Were you and Gary glued together?

Rosen, I'm glad to be able to race with you mate! Loving it!
About your disaster ... you had the wrong spec Evora. I noticed it in the replay. :ouch: You actually did a great time with that lower spec car! 👍

Yeah, I just had a look. The twin pipes on the exhaust are the giveaway. The racing exhaust has a single larger bore exhaust. Like Bo says, you did a great job in that lower specced car mate.

King Ade as a Cup maker.

I liked that to.👍👍👍👍

It was definitely the highlight of my race. A shame that Rob was taken off after 130R, I'm sure it would've continued to the finish .

Great pics once again from Bo and Rob 👍

Well done to Dan for making a one-stopper work and taking the win and the title. And congratulations to Bo for second in both the race and Championship. 👍👍

A big thanks to Ade for putting in the time and effort that makes it all possible.:cheers:

Thanks Gary. The hard work is paid off by very busy grids for the entire series, not to mention busy practice sessions. Its extremely rewarding for me to see this every week for the length of the season. So it wouldnt be possible without you great bunch of racers who have shown commitment and made the season what it was. Again it was a pleasure to organize this for veteran Sunday Cuppers, and those who were here for the first time.

A few stats for you all. In S3 we ran more practices, and longer races than in previous seasons. After the final race, my Evora has covered 6442.9 miles. The first race this car was used in was the Tsukuba 88 lapper back in November last year. (It was not used in the 24 laps of Lemans race, which was the final spec Evora). So with the Tsukuba, and Cape ring specials, and also the 8 races of S3, thats an average of 644 miles per race with practice sessions.

Over the course of the main season there were 100 starters over the 8 races, giving us an average grid of 12.5 cars per race. This is exactly the same number as in S2. However in race#1, Goodwolf didnt start due to connection issues, so we would have had an average of 12.625 if he had of been able to race.

Tomorrow evening I will post the details of the upcoming final outing in our Evora's.

Dont forget to PM me your addresses so I can send prizes.

Thanks Bo, it did seem like we were attached by an invisible elastic band of some sort.

Oh no! The disaster began in the garage... well, I blame it on the breast feeding, makes me dizzy and confused. :)

MEGA. Cant wait to look on my pc when I get home.

Edit...Just looked on PC. Yeah, MEGA. Cheers Gary.

OK racers, its nearly the weekend, and as the sun begins to set on a cracking season, its time to bring you news of the upcoming special race. The last race of S3 was the 29th main race event held in Sunday Cup. S1 had 8 races, S2 had 8 races and 2 specials, and S3 had 3 specials before the main season.

SC3 Evora Evolution really got us noticed, with prizes donated from Lotus, SC fb page getting likes from all over the world, mentions on a radio station and reaching the GTPlanet weekly rewind. So we will have 1 last blast in our enduro specced Evora's before we park them up.

Some of you have asked for a longer race, some have asked for full damage, and some have asked about weather. So gents, I would like to invite you to The Sunday Cups 30th race special event. This will be the last event I will hold until GTAcademy has finished.

SPASPECIAL_zps3e17ca38.png

1st Practice will be this Sunday at 8.00pm BST. Dry track to set up car, and get base times. Future practices will include runs in the wet.

Please let me know if you can make this final Evora event.

Registered drivers.
