My S2000 gets slaughtered, every time. I think it's the driver personally
NSX & RGT would be ineligible as they have greater than 2500cc displacement.
GTPMcBrideS2000 gets slaughtered? that's a shame great car. Yes that's right. RX8? RX7? do they fit? RX8 is Rotary engine 1.8?

Third Reigngoing for "the fastest car @500pp" kind of defeats the purpose of this event thought. Its a sad part of casual racing that everything ends with people going for the fastest cars.
Started with the RX-7 because it was slower than the gt86 and the elise, then went for the RX-8 because it was slower in practice, turned out it was too fast on race pace as well. If you are a quick guy, why also take the quickest car? the efini RX-7 might be something to try, the spirit R is too fast for a fast driver.
About rotary engines: In Germany they get a factor 2 in "effective displacement" for insurance purposes, they would effectively be 2.6L engines here. Reasoning is they fire once each crank rotation, a piston four stroke engines fires only once every two rotations.

FuelmyfireI've got a few ideas for different cars this week. I just don't want to be 4-5secs down a lap because of car choice.
GT FlawAny spots open for saturday?
FuelmyfireThe Skylines
And yes I'll be using the wheel again.
But if you used a car that you weren't as fast in and still achieved that victory, wouldn't it be all the sweeter?
It's more about the journey and the trials you overcome than the destination.
4-5 secs a lap slower or not you will be embracing a personal challenge of using a wheel. Another trial so to speak.
Others would be things like using a car you wouldn't ordinarily drive, turning off driving aids or making the switch from auto to manual gears.
2586cc? Which car is that?
GTPMcBrideI understand what your saying![]()
That's about the time I was thinking most would get. I just want to be a bit closer to it and be competitiveFuelmyfireI think my best was a 16.2 but that's on the controller...
the 500pp format I use isn't for everyone. It's aimed at racing for fun and the inexperienced. And those that are more experienced teaching the less experienced, in a relaxed environment.

Ade I owe you a few beers for allowing me to litter your thread. I'll pencil you in for Sept 14th?![]()
Looks like I have to miss Race 2, I'm now working that night :<
I thought feet were required? Otherwise "they would be a bit short on the podium"
