Great pics by CTR of the last race, and enjoyed the commentary! Liked the "Jammy posting his memoirs" part - apologies for the fuss /distraction this caused at the time.

Looking forward to fuji and I might be able to make practice later, but not yet 100% sure as yet.

Glad you liked them and saw the funny side, I was worried it may have been a bit close to the bone, given the banter about it here afterwards.

Good fun practice tonight. Dan and Jammy were the next to add their times to the table. Improvements for Capt_D and GC255 show that practice pays off. The rest of the practice shows that Dan is an Alien, we all know that. His time shows that he has green skin and small eyes.

I had a fun night. And it was nice to be able to give something back for a change :sly:
 
I wanted to get some more track time tonight, but we are having a power cut. I will keep you updated if it comes back on before 8.00. Please feel free to practice without me if I cant make it. Hope it gets fixed soon, the kids are driving me mad.
 
I'm watching Moto GP anyways, so I'm not sure when/if I'll make it tonight.
 
A glimer of hope. The power came back on for 3 seconds and then went off again. Its as though they are teasing me. On/off. Knocked the power out for the rest of the street aswell. Roast dinner has ended up as beef sandwiches. Come on hurry up and fix it.

My internet isn't playing ball, so l will give it another 15 mins of trying, then draw a line under it.
 
Well my electric didnt return until 5.30 this morning. Pleased with that, as at one point the engineers said it may be 3 days.:yuck: Gutted I couldnt practice last night, so will have to make up for it on Friday and Saturday.
 
Race 5 is coming up this weekend guys, and there will be practice sessions this Friday and Saturday. If there are enough on Friday we will run 2x10 lap races at Fuji, with Saturday being the final short race session before the race.

Other SC news......As we have reached the halfway point, I have began testing for S4. Each season has seen new changes. S1 saw the upgrades, S2 we had the tyre's, and S3 saw the Evolution. S4 will be no different, with a new twist. But thats all Im saying at the moment.
 
Did some laps on Fuji... the slipstream cuts the laptimes by one or two seconds, right? (I do hope so.)

I think I'm uniquely qualified to answer this :sly: seeing as my times are largely from when I had lost the pack. Slipstream can give you up to one second, but you do have to coordinate your race around someone else. So total time gained will depend on how much you have to fight to keep your position.

None for me I am afraid. I'm working nights up until race day, so I'll find little time to practice between now and then.
I'm so jealous of you right now 👍
 
Just ran a few short races with Rosen and Cobani. We only ran on the soft tyre, and it was superb fun. I dont have time to view the replays now, but I will tomorrow, and post these times on the table. Also there will be some important news regarding Sundays race time, and also a very special surprise for all who have attended races in S3 of The Sunday Cup.

Just want to remind you that I might not be back on time on sunday. I'll be in Strasbourg over the weekend and plan to return sunday afternoon. Exact departure depends on how well the weekend goes.

1:42??? Seriously? I really need to get some practice in. And now my internet is down potentially until Friday -possibly longer:scared:. Are the offline physics really the same as online? Because that will likely be my only practice opportunity between now and the race.

Well, I wasn't near those laptimes... mayby Cobani's cold made his eyes abit fuzzy? :)

Edit: Aha, now I understand. Cobani means the 1.42 Dan is doing.

No they aren't.I think in offline you have better traction.
But it's a great practice to find out where are you losing time when you fallow your ghost.
 
Sorry but i'm a bit behind with the upgrades. I've just upgraded for race 3&4 using the ECU plus the mandatory ones. Now for 5&6 am I allowed to add the manifold and Filter or sports cat in addition to the ECU?

Yes, one of the new pair gives an extra 100 rpm, putting it to 8000 max, that's the one I went with. I've just woken up, so I'm not sure which it is, sorry, I think it's the exhaust set.

Thanks for the input on my practice regimen for the next few days guys. I'm not going to reach a 1:42 even offline, but if I practice medium and hard tyres offline aiming for the soft med times respectively, I might be able to at least remain competitive.
