I promise I'm not singling you out. I did have fun chasing you down in the last stint until you span at the bus stop. I thought it was going to be down to the wire. 👍
Fantastic pics Rob, between you and cobani, any tips for me?![]()
HancockI wont be joining you this weekend, unfortunately I've badly sprained my ankle and possibly done some ligament damage so I'm now on crutches! So frustrating because the 1st 2 races I've had with you guys were so much fun. I'm just hoping I'm ok for the race!
Get on the DS3?Or do you need to keep your foot raised etc when sat down?
At any rate I hope it isn't ligament damage man. I've been through that twice. Not fun at all. Have a speedy recovery 👍

GTP_ADEGreat first laps online tonight. There were 6 for practice, including special guest Geordie. We ran 3 8 lap races, the first on the soft, the second on the medium, and 1 final race on the soft with just Capt_D, GC255 and myself.
Sport Soft.
CAPT_D...1:44.724
THIRD_REIGN...1:44.880
ADE3210...1:45.026
GRAND_PRIX...1:45.237
GC255...1:46.576
GEORDIE...1:47.067
Sport Medium.
THIRD_REIGN...1:46.748
CAPT_D...1:47.115
GRAND_PRIX...1:47.126
ADE3210...1:47.217
GEORDIE...1:48.477
GC255...1:49.663
So the benchmarks have been set, with CAPT_D the pace setter on the soft tyre, but THIRD_REIGN is only a fraction off his time. THIRD takes the spoils for the medium time, with nearly a half second lead over CAPT_D.
THIRD did stop off for a take away before the medium race, so maybe his 4 roast chickens and a T bone helped.
More practice tomorrow with the normal short race sessions at 8.00pm.
CTR DriverDid some personal practice after the lounge disbanded and managed a 1:46.046, so I can do better. How much do you guys think the slipstream matters here?
In the race a lot. Losing the train makes catching up extremely hard. My best time on the mediums was run solo after braking away from geordie. Guess the guys up front were too caught up in fights to choose the best line.
Thats a good time with no slip Gary. If you could do that with others on the track and get the slip on the pit straight you could get low 45s.
