...Back to Cape Ring South....I had a little practice last night.

Mid 1:22s best I did was 1:22.406.

Problem is, I am not too confident going through the high speed chicane before the start/finish hairpin. I know it's not the norm but has anybodies set ups allowed them to attack this without fear of spinning off?...

Hey Scholesy, you're times are good 👍

About the chicane, go in as fast as possible and be very afraid :nervous: ...
or go in slower and loose 0.5 of a second a lap. That's the better option in my opinion, you don't wanna touch the grass there. :ouch:
And setups are shared sometimes, we are a lovely bunch of people. :cheers:

As for a setup tip, don't go uber-low on your rideheight, I've got it at -20 front and -15 back. (of the top of my head)

Yeah Buddy, in just over an hour. Just got back home from another Xmas feed, liver and bacon this time, to replace the one I pickled over the last week or so.:sick: See you on the track soon.👍
 
Really enjoyed the racing. Sorry for holding you guys up at times but it was my first practice session in the car on this track, which I'd not driven since the tsukuba race in this spec. I think I started to get the hang of it come the end of the session, so was definitely worthwhile for me.

Also it was nice to get to speak to you guys at last :)

Looking forward to the race :)

Fantastic last practice of the year lads. We saw 8 turn in for this short race session, and we practiced on both tyre compounds. The results are as follows. Note that SKENG only took part in the hard tyre races.

Some great stats there Warrius. Cant believe I spent 44 hrs racing in your lounge. Im looking forward to Wednesdays racing in the last ever Zero Cup. The grid looks like its filling up.

Well I wasn't too happy with my times on sport medium last night so had a practice session this afternoon in my lounge and managed to improve to a best of
1.21.759, with my next best being1.22.188 with a few 1.22.5s in the mix. Which is a decent improvement so I'm happy with that. No setup changes were made so it's just been a case of learning the track a bit more and a bit of clear tarmac on my own.

Hope you all have a fab new year's eve and enjoy the celebrations :)

Hope you all had a great new year. 2013 is here, and its pre season warm up race weekend. I will be having 1 final practice session this Saturday at 8.00pm, before Sundays race. Then its only 4 weeks until the start of S3.

Also, I am missing a couple of Podium pictures. Fuelmyfire and Shin_roh. Would you be kind enough to send me a podium pic of car and driver, either post it here or send it to my PSN. I cant remember if you did one already, but I have changed my PS3 to a new one 2 weeks ago, so lost a lot of picture files. If Skengdigi can also do a podium picture aswell please, that would be great.

Some super times there Petros, enough to worry the competition I think. Final practice on Saturday, and then the race on Sunday.

I thought I better have a few laps this morning and see if I could get close.. After 7 laps on the medium I got a 20.775, and with the hard the best I got was a 22.652.. I can see a few tenths left on the med tyre but that 22.4 you did on the hard seems to be very fast.

Edit,

Checked my car settings and saw I was down to 332hp.. Quick oil change and now back at 345 hp.. New times; 1'22.408 on the hards and 1'20.460 on the mediums.

Damn, I'm missing GT5 at the moment, I really wanna get some laps in, can't believe I'm missing the next event too! Meh.

Great practice gents, 6 racers came for this final session before our first Sunday Cup event in 2013. The results below in green are new fastest times set tonight. ROCKET ROSENLUNDAREN gets a special mention for his time set on the hard tyres. Faster than his medium tyre time, and 3rd fastest set on the hard compound. On the hole though, every one seems to be keeping the same sort of pace, give or take a few tenths, apart from The Alien. It will be an interesting race with Petro's and Cobani in the mix tomorrow.

Couldn't get on tonight, my nerves were to shredded from FA Cup.
My practice yesterday says I'm in the right end of 22s so sees ya tomorrow.

First day back at work so be online from about 19:30ish.
 
So tomorrow it is. Dont forget to let me know if you cant make it, as we have reserve drivers for this race, and I will send PSN invites to the reserve drivers at 7.50pm if the room is not full, so they can get 10 mins qualification.
