im gonna watch john carpenters "the thing" tomorrow, i saw the game preview so i figured i should go check out the movie, it got liek 4.2 stars out of 5 on yahoo movies... or something like that

Do ya know what the genre of the film is?
Horror, comedy, sci-fi, by the way have u seen mothman prophicies? if so what was the film like, i am interrested in the conspiricy itself so i wanted to know what the film was like, thanx for tellin me in advance

It's pretty much science fiction/horror. It's a remake of an early 60s scifi film of the same title.

Carpenter does an excellent job on it. Well worth the rental.
