People that do dirty stuff in a race, like swerving to block on the straights... & Then you go to trash them in messages, & they have their privacy settings preventing messages or friend requests to then message.

Those people are scum, avoiding the rightful consequences of their disgraceful actions.
You want to be careful with that one tho. Sony permanently banned my main account with over 20 platinum trophies and hundreds of pounds worth of digital content. This is the reason I will never again buy anything digital.
My GT5 platinum belongs to a dead account

As someone that's had 3 accounts permabanned for this over the years, I already know 😅
But for whatever reason it's hard to control myself in the heated moments.

I have like 50 something plats, about $200 & god knows how many hours across those 3 accounts, they spanned about 13 years though so makes sense. Still depressing, & they denied all my permaban appeals.

Sony are literal scum when it comes to how they handle banning people.

1. No proper bonnet cam
Agreed! The one we have kind of sucks.
6. People not tagging decals.
This is a direct result of PD blocking autocomplete while filling those fields on the PS and not allowing to have those filled and shared from the website. On a ideal world we would be able to pick from a list of suggested tags on the PS and would be able to share stuff straight from the website without even having to open the game. Having to manually type those every time from scratch is a bleeping pain.

I tend to skip it when sharing in bulk since at least on the PS5 there is no auto-complete or suggestions for those fields.

Yeah this is also why I only uploaded a few myself. Perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad if PD altered the search to also search by name / title / label. Lack of autocomplete is a right 🤬

Heat of the moment isn’t taking the time to send people abusive PSN messages. I hope you are very young as it’s immature to say the least and you were rightfully banned for it.

And as a reminder to everyone of what kind of racer you are and having the nerve to call other people dirty.
One thing I've done & seen others do is crash out no-etoppers for rave C. & While I get that it's part of racing, in a video game I simply won't accept losing to a no-stopper. Mainly because I think it's a cowardly, cheap, low skill way to win

You seem to think that quoting a post from another thread somehow proves any kind of point whatsoever.

You should probably race with me sometime, I didn't get to 60K DR on GT Sport, & being matchmade in the top splits by always "being dirty"
I love how people like you try to talk in absolutes & right people off, because you've got nothing else going on in your mediocre, embarrassment of a life, so these forums mean so much to you.

I race fair & hard unless one of two conditions are met... Either you're doing dirty manoeuvres to me, in which case you deserve what you get.
Or you've chosen to cheese wins by using a nostop strategy.

Race C this week I haven't been to because it's Gr3 & I'd rather race the more exciting Deep Forest if I'm going to hop into GR3, even though it has its own issues.
But if I was in Race C, I wouldn't be punting people because from what I've read the no-stop is so overwhelmingly strong that literally everyone is doing it & stopping isn't an option. I don't really have an issue with that.

I specifically said in my original post the issue I have is when one stop is a viable option, yet you choose to no stop because it gives you a ~10 second advantage or whatever it might be.

In that situation you are choosing the cowards way out of racing. You're actively avoiding the adrenaline rush of good racing, in q competitive lobby, & choosing the low skill, path of least resistance way to win.

Nothing you say will ever change my viewpoint on this, & no amount of weak men that couldn't fight their way out of wet bag, crying to me & getting defensive about it, will ever alter what I think. No-stopping when a one stop is viable, is a cowards way of racing & is the antithesis of exciting racing, & if you're willing to ruin races by turning them into a borefest for everyone else just so you can feel good about your miserable life for 5 mins afterwards, then I'm willing to take the hit in SR to ruin that for you, & hopefully have someone that isn't a coward win the lobby.

It's simply a principle, if you don't like it then here's an idea.... Don't no-stop & ruin the game for others. The most enjoyable thing about this game is when there's 2-4 guys flat out, racing for the WIN in an adrenaline dump of a race, it's fantastic.
When the win is barely an option because someone no stops & is 10 -15 seconds up the road, it turns the race into a Sunday drive to the finish line & a boring second place.

& To all of the absolute clowns saying "don't be mad you're not smart enough" or "it takes skill to no stop"

Just stop it... There's nothing difficult at all about driving at 80% speed, short shifting & swapping to a different fuel map to cruise to an easy win. No stopping is not difficult at all, it's extremely low skill & admittance of absolute cowardice & fear of close racing.

Driving perfectly when you're at 80-90% speed, is far easier than driving perfectly at 100% flat out.

People who go for it, everytime, flat out are the ones that have respect, because it's a game & they're doing their part to make it fun for everyone. People who no stop to be quite honest could all die tomorrow & I wouldn't even think twice about it.

Don't bother replying to me on this anymore, I will not be reading or replying to any tiny d*** crying responses.

I drifted off after the first paragraph or so I’ll simply state that You’ve admitted to punting people off for being a better racer than you and having multiple accounts banned for sending abusive messages after the fact. Both speak very poorly of your character.

People that constantly complain about something being broken, meanwhile they just suck at the game.

The two people that pop up during circuit experience and tell me to take a breath or to watch the demo again.

But the most annoying thing; After 25 years of having really good soundtracks with tons of great driving music I have to go somewhere else to get music with GT7. The soundtrack sucks for driving. It's like they are trying to lull me to sleep.

I'm using single player as a great opportunity to catch up on some new music!

Just need to get the game sound/music mix right in my headphones

Bruh... literally... bruh.

Calling no pitting a coward move. Just...

It's quite funny actually.
I specifically avoid most fuel saving strats as a rule because I believe my skill/consistency isn't at the level where one mistake wouldn't ruin everything.

That's called racing. If not pitting is faster, you don't pit. Easy as that.
You don't get to ruin someone's race because they had a faster strategy than you.

And whining and crying and insulting everyone over it shows what kind of person you are.

You deserved your bans. Don't be surprised if you can't last long here either.

I am annoyed at the fact that I have no idea what my actual DR and OR levels numerical values are. In GTS I always knew how close I was to the different levels. Now it is just the alphabetical levels.
I feel the same way about it, my DR is still a D, seems like it's taking a long time to get leved up, I wish they would give us numerical values so we'll know how much we need to reach the next level.

When the time delta comes up as the wrong color. Sometimes I'll see -.XXX and it'll be red; or I'll see +.XXX and it'll be purple.

Often I won't even look at the numbers, but just look for the color out of the corner of my eye so I know how that last sector went. Can't really do that when the color is wrong I'd say 5-10% of the time.

Sounds like someone can't handle fuel and tyre management, a basic component of racing in any series. Your arguments are so bad that over half of your comment is just you acting tough, calling people who are better at racing than you cowards, clowns and "weak men", and claiming you're not going to read any responses.

This morning, Alex Albon got P10 in a Williams after a 57 lap stint, only making a pit stop on the last lap to avoid a DSQ. A good result, but ofcourse very cowardly and not difficult at all. He should've done a 10 stop race instead. Or someone like Zhou should've punted him off to do what's right and honorable.

Having no ability to test a tune at the race screen.
Would be nice at least to see if the changes you've done are good.

Lean fuel maps, lift and coast is a thing that is needed for the WTC 700 at Circuit De La Sarthe in world circuits.
Each pitstop is about 40 seconds if you were very lean with fuel usage by using fuel map 6 and drafting a fair bit, 50 seconds being average if you use fuel maps 4-5 and draft when you can, but if you're nearly about of fuel you could spend 55 seconds in pit if you when gun hoe.
And on a track like this were the average speed is high, that 5 seconds longer you spend in pit becomes about a 10+ second gap as you now have to get up to speed and have cold tires.

Even pros short shift & do things like Lift and Coast, it is a strategy that can extend a pit schedule by 1 or 2 laps.
And if the racer that lift and coasts and short shifts does 2 pit stops, where as you have to do 3 stops.

The ridiculous 15kb limit for decal uploads.
The fact that you gotta back out of a room in an online lobby to change any 1 setting. And have to make a whole new room.
Latency online is atrocious. Everyone looks like the jacking off with the same hand they have on the wheel.

I know there’s more. This is just off the top of my head. Hopefully some of these, particularly the online limitations get fixed in the future. Im sure they will. Still annoying though.
