I have a PS5, mine does the same thing, it doesn’t crash but sometimes it just won’t load decals or display cars if you don’t give it a second. One thing that really bugs me is this game I used to boot up my system, open the game and boom I’m in. Now more than ever I have the loading circle, sometimes I have to close application and start again. I don’t think it’s my ps5, it’s the fact the game is all online. Is it loading on every car and every livery and every replay and every style every time I boot up the game? Maybe this issue is on their end. I have more than fast enough internet and I’m wired in.
Have you recently disabled the intro movie? I noticed on my main account It'll get stuck on the loading circle sometimes forcing me to quit and relaunch, however don't have that issue on the alt. account as I never turned off the intro.

I turned it off after the first time I watched it. So right on release.
 
Having no option to organize the garage apart from the favorites tag. This goes in line with grouping decals in the livery editor and both features feel like a logical thing.

This bugs me so much. I have mock up trans am historic racing tunes, would be so nice to be able to select a trans am folder when looking for them. They have so many different ways to organize except for how we want or need.

The decals thing really bugs me, I find a decal I want, I can’t create a folder right then and there. My decals are a mess because i have to create my folder categories beforehand unless I’m missing something.

Also the number of decals favorites folders and contained items inside them are very limited.
 
I have reached the 400mio credits spent in cars and missing 73 cars to complete the collection.

It would be very useful to have the visualization of the missing cars (not just the shadow as it is).
I would like to see a single page with all the missing cars and their value, exactly to visualize how much far from the end I am...
and how much big still is the effort..

Suggestion: In collection try sorting the cars by Manufacturer, it helps in figuring out what cars you need..

Yes, but in this way you see just the shadow (that it is fine because create mystery about the cars...when the game is new... not after 2 years...)
But it would be nice to have a sort of list with the relative prices and the total on the bottom... so you know exactly how much money you need to complete...

I think that this is an "issue" that happen at the end of the game... not when you just started to play with.
 
One custom folder in garage. Favourites. Lame. Who’s bright idea was it to give the user several pre-made ways to sort, and one favourite.

The game seems to be all about tuning. So if I make several different car classes I’d like to be able to sort them that way.

Trans am Tunes
80’s Wedge
Mustang vs Mini
Historic 450pp CM
Whatever you name it.

What an oversight that was, as well as not being able to share tunes. The lack of these two features feel like if you bought a TV and the remote only had volume up, if you wanted to turn it down, you have to get up and do it manually on the tv.
 
The entry window cut-off for Daily races...

That the post-race screens can't be skipped.

Often there will be a situation where one Daily race finishes with minutes before a different race begins, but due to having to wait for the current race to end, go through the rewards and results screen and lobby, by the time you're back in the sports menu the entry window for the other race has closed! Even if the race doesn't start for another minute!
 
It is quite annoying that the Supra GT4 interior is almost similar to the road model instead of having something like the IRL interior

The massive favouritism towards Toyota and Fraga. If there's a race with fuel and tyre wear and everyone's stints are limited by fuel, you can be sure that if some cars have softer compounds the Toyotas will. More often than not Fraga is given a car way beyond the others - the current weekly at Route X being a good example, the rest are struggling to hit 300 km/h, he gets a Corvette that does 350 km/h.

I understand that it's marketing, PD wants to make their main real life driver look good, but still. It's not even that he's a gamer turned into a real racer, he was a Formula 3 driver before GT Sport was even released. The actual GT to real life racer is Ordóñez and some drivers have won more in GT World Series than Fraga, most noticably López and Miyazono. The situation is basically a huge middle finger to them as they're field filler also-rans in the game while actually having more prestige as GT players.

Dont they refer to the car as a concept?? Maybe they didnt have the rights or scanning to use the actual race car before the games release.

This car is labelled as 2018 so it is very old.
 
I posted in this thread like 80-some odd pages back that I don't care about fake artificial miles on a car I bought! I want to see the miles I drove in the car! This way I know if I have or haven't driven a car before and which ones I've driven the most. To me, it's asinine to not include this stat in the game because I don't care that this classic car randomly has 64,238-miles on it when I bought it.

Solution is deleting pointless UCD and keep Brand Central (everything at 0 kms).

I get it but I agree with you, too bad there isn’t a reset for those that want to start at zero. I wonder if rebuild chassis and engine would do it. Just another stupid thing tied to credits. They want to keep it all reaListic and brag that up, but if I drive straight into a wall at 130mph, I get back on track and potential still win the race. No mechanical damage or visual, just reduced speed and repair in pits.
 
Tbh, the UCD is kinda pointless. Is it really a used car if it performs exactly like a new car. At least in the old GTs you had to give it an oil change to get it back to stock figures. I think there should be a pros/cons system with used cars.
 
Why a reset ? We use to have "distance driven" available in GT Sport, that'd be perfect.
Ah I gotcha, that makes sense, sort by distance driven not kms on car. I thought they had last used. I don’t use any categories except performance points. I’ve tuned groups of cars to run similar lap times, I really really really want to be able to create my own folder categories. Would make it so much easier to keep track of the tunes since they’re not always the same HP or PP, sometimes not even the same tires. But noooo, we get one favourites.

It wouldn’t matter if there was no tuning, but the fact that you can match up lower class cars to higher class cars, it would be nice to have that option.

You're not alone in that, having only favorites is really insufficient.

I recently resorted to use a color code/livery style for one of the last category of cars I built (based on cars and tunes provided by a member of our racing league), and we also have colored stickers for other categories that allow to recognize the category of the car among all the others.

Yep I started that too, but it’s still annoying we have to adapt and come up with ways to signify what tunes are what. Not to mention we still can’t see what tires are on our car until hopping in it.

I did livery styles rathe than colour because I don’t want ALL of my trans am tunes orange. What if I race custom and want some footage. Anyway super annoying as with the not being able to share tunes. If Kaz had to copy ten tunes he’d change his mind real fast about thinking 3 screenshots is sufficient

Good idea, you still need to go and buy the parts and make adjustments, gets even more difficult when somebody from another country speaking a difference language screenshots their tune.

Imagine being able to click share tune to: ____________________ and then they click apply tune. lol. Kaz just doesn’t get it. We used to have the feature, it’s in most racing games why they took it out I don’t know. Developers always do that though, they change one little feature just because.

Which brings up one of my biggest annoyances which constantly causes confusion: the displayed power output and weight being console language bound without any option to change this inside the game itself while the units selection option only switches between mph and kmh.

German gets kw/kg, US gets bhp/lbs, UK gets bhp/kg, France ch/kg and so on...

1bhp = 1.038 ch/CV/PS/hp = 0.746
1kg = 2.2 lbs

Why this is so convoluted and can't simply be switched to any type in the tuning sheet is beyond me. Especially since GT6 featured sharing of tuning sheets and even gifting whole cars... A prime example of a really useful feature being dropped from "the most complete Gran Turismo ever" for no apparent reason. Lol, just writing about this gets me anxiously frustrated.

The bolded is absolutely not true.

1bhp = 1hp. The difference between bhp and hp is the difference between a unit and a method. Brake horsepower is horsepower as measured at the crank, named as such for the method of a braking dynamometer - which applies a resisting force (braking) to the output. The units it is measured in are (mechanical) horsepower: hp. That "b" only tells you it's crank, and not anything else like wheel (as measured on a rolling road).

The horsepower unit is defined as 550lbfft/s (though the subscript "f", to mean "equivalent force" to distinguish pounds-force from pounds-mass, is often omitted). All variants of metric horsepower units are defined as 75kgfm/s.

Your equivalency formula ought to read:

1hp = 0.746kW = 1.038PS/cv/ch etc.
1PS (etc) = 0.736kW = 0.986hp

Also 1kg = 2.205lb, if you want to be consistent with three decimal places.
