Oh lawds, I'm meant to be writing Allegrezza at the moment, but I stumbled across one guy who's uploads of Halo Legends haven't been deleted.

It's broken my anime abstinence for sure, and many of the scenes once more make me beg the question "Why U no Halo movie Microsoft?!" Seriously, live action trailers plus that equal enough love and manpower to make a badass movie.

Halo has all the potential to be a great movie(specially if they follow Halo 2's story), however it will be closely similar to Starship Troopers.


And it seems that the linkage between Luna and Celestia is still broken, despite of the Nightmare Moon's defeat. The curious thing about it is that Twilight makes a clear question about it by saying "why they can use the element of harmony in the first place". Meaning that they could use the elements of harmony together(Celly and Luna) as an object instead of a subject or character. That is an interesting plot device.

Halo has all the potential to be a great movie(specially if they follow Halo 2's story), however it will be closely similar to Starship Troopers.

Mmm, in a way. But there's a side to the Covenant that the Bugs simply don't have. Also, Starship Troopers was more about humans trying and failing to be dominant over the Bugs, underestimating them. Halo's more a story of Humanity simply getting it's ass kicked, although they win most battles on the ground, they lost the spatial battles and have to retreat anyway.

Oh, and the guy I thought had all the parts didn't Turns out Warner Bros tactically removing one part out of three for each anime short. Why can't every company be as awesome as Hasbro in that way?

I could never write something like that, mainly because I still have the fail-safe in place that A, I know I'm not a pony, and B, I know ponies aren't human. Sure, some of my characters may have splinters of my mind in them, but I can't write a Mary Sue to save my life, I'd hate them.

They'd be wierded out forever. I would never really want to draw or write anything like that either. So I completely, 100% agree with you.

It feels weird to read them, but I really couldn't care less if someone did that in a story. Well, if it's incredibly obvious anyway, but unless you know the person personally there's no way to tell if it's even a self-insert, or just a random OC.

And even the fan-art involving them with a pony, I don't get it, but I'm not going to come out and say they're a bad person for it.

Yeh, I mean, I have a "ponysona." But in honesty, that's not some alternate version of me like writers like ButterScotch Sundae have. CoffeeGrunt is as much my name as my actual name. I've been CoffeeGrunt for years, I just wanted a cool looking pony for my page. Just happened to have the same colour scheme as Cassandra is all...

But yeh, my Deviant has my real name on it...which I loath for obvious reasons, but why pretend to be some equine alter ego?

"When Trey Came to Town" full-bodily leaps to mind here. It's mildly entertaining in a laugh with not at way. It makes me feel like a troll when I read it, everypony falls in love with Trey in the space of a chapter for no reason...it's just...well, the semi-okay written product of a sad and lonely soul and I don't understand how it got greenlit.

Well, I have done this with another canon- but it's taken me seven or eight years, maybe more, to do this and do it properly. Furthermore, over those years, said Self-insert lost his...well, Self, (he didn't have that much to begin with anyway) and became a character all his own. Thus it became fanXoffical. And it may become original pretty soon, as at this point the "official" part of the canon is so skewed that it could become "original" with a few last name changes.

Organic character development, I love it.

As for Blue Angel, while she isn't NEARLY at the same level of character development, (and is DEFINITELY not me - the main reason I used her in unit-one's pic is because she's the only character I have who isn't a representative of a real person.) she won't be in a relationship with any of the official characters. Largely because most of them are female, and she's straight. The issue is finding an RP or RP site to use her with. I have half a mind to start one of my own centering around "Neighlis Air Force Base: Home of the Wonderbolts," but...well, that'd be on the home site and I'm not sure how it'd go over...

My biggest worry about YBYF was always that someone would call Sue on my Ponysona simply for being in the story. Looking back, I probably overdid it trying to make him as unSue as possible, but oh well.

If you could choose any voice actor/actress for your OCs (other than yourself. no cheating,) who would you choose?

Blue Angel: Kath Soucie, particularly with her normal voice. (I believe that's what she used for Sally Acorn.)
Bob Bighoof: Well, since he literally IS Bob Chandler, Who better to voice him than the mild-mannered Monster Truck Originator himself? Main issue being that other than in a CMC-based plotline that would revisit the history of Bigfoot, I don't know where that chara would fit in...

I mean, I get that it's just a joke, but I didn't really enjoy it at all. The voices don't need to be good, but they were so annoying I didn't even crack a smile at the jokes. There's comically bad, and there's distractingly bad.

It doesn't help that the jokes were extremely uncreative and unoriginal in the first place.
