I have decided that i'm probably going to get this computer.. This One
Hope I can continue to make PMV's with that computer... the specs seem better than my last laptop... Especially that extra 1GB of RAM... I'll just have to wait and see :D

And also time for a unexpected and controversial question because I would really like to hear your guys opinion..
Do you guys think UFO'S/aliens are real..?
I'm going to say yes but most of the clips on the internet aren't... and I don't believe that conspiracy stuff (aka I don't believe They control the government or that they want to destroy earth)
Also try not to turn that question into a big argument guys!

Hmmm, if you're using it for something intensive, I wouldn't get a laptop anyway. Alot of my friends bought gaming laptops, laughed at me for keeping this ol' girl that's turning five soon, and are now forking out to build their own gaming PCs...only a year later.

Thing is, you'll end up buying a laptop more often than a PC. The initial outlay is more, but it lasts longer and has expandability for the future. Also, high-powered laptops chuck out tonnes of heat...straight into your lap. Do you want to microwave your testes?

@Dylans1o, regarding your laptop I recommend you get an i3 or i5 if you can afford the extra price. The celrons are known to be horridly slow. They are intels budget range after all. (Not to mention they are old, old CPUs.)
The i3's on the other hand while a bit more expensive are quite good from what I've seen.

And about the aliens, I'm not sure. I think it's probably that they exist, but I just don't know.

I can't get a PC because I go to my dads every weekend and bringing that over would be waaaayy to much effort..

Most of the time I dont have the Laptop on my lap i'd just have it on my bed... So I shouldn't be getting Randy's testes (from that episode of South Park with the legal drugs)anytime soon :p

@Brando-K it was more the RAM i'm worried about as my sisters computer has a single core Celeron at 2.2GHz and I could edit on that so... yea
 
Depends what you're doing, processor is more important than RAM 90% of the time. A faster processor'll render sequences quicker.

I just spent a while to my mate who wanted 16Gb RAM, even though the 32-bit software running it caps at 4.5Gb.
 
I'd have a Desktop-PC but then I'd look pretty stupid carrying it around when I go to a friends house.


Once I get the money though, I'll have a laptop for that, and a big gaming rig for when I'm at home.
 
You can't do this, Jim! The thread, she can't take Faustian images on a daily basis. It's like getting a diesel engine, and pouring deuterium into it!
 
She has been for the past several weeks - the twilight image was Faust's as well. :P
