There is something deeply disturbing about how the artist drew the ponies that picture Brando posted. Like, "creeps me right the hell out" disturbing.



I'll give a hint: It rhymes with sasses.

I didn't expect to have enough free time this early. I noticed they're all under "Nightfall at Sweet Apple Acres". Do I need to read any of those stories first, or does it work as a standalone thing? I'm guessing it's a standalone, like Secret Tub of Fun only on the far opposite side of the happy scale, I just want to make sure.

Nightfall at Sweet Apple Acres is basically "the Mane Six (except Twilight and Rainbow Dash) all grow old and die." All of the stories are depressing (Rarity's being the exception, because she dies but it is so positively spun that it ceases to even be bittersweet and is really just happy), but the only other one you really need to get the impact of LSR is the first story.

Right, so I'll read the first story when the game is over, and then depending on how I feel after that I'll read the second story either tonight or tomorrow.

Keep in mind that I'm stating this with the entirety of my experience of the topic being that one episode of CSI (so this may be the most ignorant thing I've ever posted), but a "pre-owned" fursuit sounds like the most disgusting thing ever.

As long as they cleaned it every time they use it it's probably fine.

And judging by the quality I seriously doubt the person wearing it would risk doing anything outside of walking around, even if they did want to. And I'm sure they wouldn't let it get too dirty.


I still wouldn't buy one pre-owned even if I were into that, though. Not because I'd be worried they did...dirty things....in them, but because I just don't like wearing stuff that people were probably sweating like hell in, even if there wasn't a single trace of it in the thing.

My first attempt had the words "finish in it", so I guess that's at least an improvement.

Alright, chose a good sad song from the Halo soundtrack, got my headphones, I feel like I'm ready for the first story. Here goes. On second though, no music, feel like it might distract me.

I don't normally listen to anything while I'm reading, although I do have a few dark tracks that I listen to whenever I read TNTNE. Only on a few occasions have I listened to particularly sad music when reading sadfics.


Anyway, I'll get some reading done tomorrow, seeing as it's kind of late for me to read anything right now.

^The music all depends for me. I actually did end up turning this on about 4 minutes after that post:

The song by itself isn't really sad, but I've listened to it while reading sad fics before, and it just seems to work. I also cut off that end part because it kind of breaks the feeling for me.

And not that this needs said, but the .mp3 from iTunes is much better than the quality of that video.

Right there. Right there is when I started crying hard because I knew what was coming.

My eyes started getting a little watery right when Big Mac was mentioned(Although Big Mac being married to Twilight was something I liked.). The story itself, it was sad, and I cried, but I just felt like, well, I'm not sure how to put it; Twilight was gone, but she went out more peacefully than I could have imagined possible, so I wasn't breaking down into tears crying.

There were tears, just not 'soaking them up with a large rag' tears.

So I just got a request to add my OC pony to a DA group named MLP-FIM-RoyalGuard.



I don't care if they're not very well known, still feels cool having something I made be added to a group without me even having to ask.

Either way, I'll probably be buying one of the shirts they've already got in the next couple days, because Nov. 25th is just way to long for me to wait considering the ones I really want might not make it through the voting.

Didn't even have to watch the clip. I did anyway, but the moment I saw it the memory clicked. I didn't watch a lot of that show when I was younger, but I clearly remember what I did watch.


And yes, such cartoons are obviously important for developing a young mind into a well adjusted member of society.


And even though I say that as a joke, judging by the people around me in my day to day life, it might actually be true.

I loved Rocko as a kid. I once got my 9th grade Biology teacher to use an episode as a video aid for our class, and she still uses it to this day.


The greatest episode of any show ever is still Wacky Delly, though. The best Springtime for Hitler storyline ever written aside from the original itself.

I loved Rocko as a kid.

Can't say I remember watching that much when I was younger. I mean, I do remember flicking through the channels and stopping on that show sometimes, but that was way back in the late 90's.
