I probably should have been more clear myself actually. I understood what you were saying, it's just that I kind of want to read them anyway. I've already heard of them, and I was already thinking about reading them before I saw your post. So it's not like I missed your warning and am going to blame you for telling me about them or something like that.

Twilight needs to be nerfed hard if they want to make the game balanced. If they go for a realistic interpritation of what they can do in the show, Twilight would be really OP. Rainbow Dash would also be OP, but they wont have to nerf her as much.

Also, I already think I know what RD's and Fluttershy's specials will be.

We can go to the old RPG standards - Twi/Rarity would have low physical defense but high special attack, (mages) while Applejack would likely have monster physical attack/moderate defense (the tank of the group,) and Fluttershy high defense with an annoying self-regenerating ability, and low/moderate attack. (medic) RD would be fairly balanced, leaning towards physical, (Speed) while Pinkie would be balanced, but leaning towards special (the "randomness".)

AJ would be the E. Honda equivalent. Fast and strong with high endurance, but requires great skill to be used against Shotoclones.

Dash would be the Fei Long/Kyo Kusanagi equivalent (more the latter than the former). Really fast, but with a strong necessity on technical play and Rekka-style combos to big damage.

Twilight would be the Athena Asamiya equivalent. Fast and fireball based with weak defense, but without much of anything to do up close other than pokes to combo projectiles into. She would also have a barrier to reflect fireballs.

Rarity would be similar to Twilight, but with weaker/slower projectiles, slightly stronger defense and an expanded close-range moveset. Her barrier would absorb fireballs instead of reflecting them. I guess this would make her more like Sie Kensou than Athena, though.

Pinkie Pie could be made into a Dhalsim expy with no difficulty at all.

Fluttershy would be hard to balance without screwing up her character. Maybe a Dan Hibiki with defense stats equal to/higher than AJ?

I also realized that, at first I thought her past haunted her through her cracked mind. However, I won't pull any conclusions, I don't want to deduct my way through the story and spoil everything for me. (That stuff happens to me sometimes when I think too much.)

Don't worry about it. The Epilogue actually turned out to be... happy. Far happier than I had any belief it could have been. That he never intended to write it makes me even more surprised considering how well-written the procession of events and change in tone was.


And besides, there is a new Ballad of Twilight Sparkle chapter up, which would have lifted my spirits even if the Sunset Epilogue had been massively depressing.

Just realized that the Shadow Bolts actually said "We need a captain" when talking to Dash. I didn't pick up on that until after reading a certain fan-fic.
Not sure this would need spoiler tags because unless you've read the story you probably have o idea what significance that has.

It's probably just a call-back to the show proper to show that the author has done his homework.


I've seen a few other fics use the specific wordings used by characters in similarly clever ways that wouldn't be possible if the characters had said anything else (Gilda fics do it a lot, for example).

On the other hand, it also adds to the increasingly large pile of circumstantial evidence that I've been compiling regarding Captain Dash being the direct cause that the world is the way it is in the story.

With the idea that unit-one mentioned earlier today, I almost want to jump on that as being my official prediction for the climax of the story.

I'm currently reading TBTS,and I have to say that is quite good,makes me think that I overlook Twilight as an "interesting" character,I just managed to the 3 chapter today thought(time strains),but thus far is quite interesting.

Aside from that,I just saw a CM of MLP and I notice the lack of Fluttershy on the CM,sure there was Rainbow Dash,Rarity,Twilight,Pinkie pie and Trollestia(pink) but no Fluttershy,so have you guys seen the figurine,just saying.

When Pinkie and Dash Shake hoofs at the end of Griffon the brush off they shake with their right hoofs. However the next shot shows the buzzers on Dashes left hoof and pinkies on the right.

Right in the beginning, watch the positions of the ropes. I've seen a picture showing this, but it's not in the gallery right now, so I'm not sure how many people here have seen it. I actualyl spotted this the first time, I just never bothered saying anything and had forgotten until I saw the picture.

It starts with the order from front to back being Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, then Scootaloo. But then when the angle changes it's the other way around.



EDIT: About that bloopers video, I just started that, muted it, and started playing some 8-Bit Winter Wrap up.
