But the icon is ghosted, like it was in Prologue, and the Time Trial

Wow, I've looked at the picture in detail and not once spotted the shooter (or the dolls) the brain's focus is amazing. Anyway waaay off topic.

RC - I know you did a FB test over curbs / rumble strips around the 'ring. After reading your thoughts I went back and did some testing using my DFP.

I get FFB effects on the strips which go down in strength progressively from 5mph up to about 60/70mph, after that nothing - is this the same for these wheels?
 
I hope they sell this wheel separate since i just love my CSP´s.

But the wheel seems to be in it´s own league just under FREX, ECCI etc which is why i really want this wheel.

EDIT: I just emailed Thrustmaster to see if they will infact sell the wheel seperately.

Certainly is an expensive bit of kit, and the fact the shifter is extra just adds to the price. Glad I got my g25 when I did.

why doesn't amazon have this yet!? even for pre-order!? i have a g27 on order and another playseat evo and would love to cancel the g27 before they actually ship it out between feb. 04 - march 03....

yeah, at the Thrustmaster site it shows Amazon, Frys, Newegg, and couple of other retailers. As of yesterday I think only Frys (mispelled as Thrusmaster as someone pointed out in case you cannot find it) listed the wheel for preorder?

This is my first post here after perusing anonymously for some time. Have enjoyed reading most posts about the T500. Should be connecting my T500 this evening if my local Fry's doesn't sell the one they're holding in my name. I hope to post some comments in a few days after trying it out.

yeah i got a card with amazon and would much rather NOT drop $600 outta my bank account! haha i just wanna know why amazon hasn't got it yet...:odd:

I also made mistake. I see the wheel on a couple of European sites. AFAICT, only Frys in N.A. is listing the wheel?

ah yeah only fry's N.A. is listing it...When you said newegg i had to double check with them cause i order almost everything from newegg so i figured i could possibly get a card with them if need be but the wheel wasn't listed so that's a no go haha

Its a simple question on a issue you happened to make out as huge.
However seeing your cockpit in action and all it's movement which you failed to mention at the time of your venting im curious if that was a factor in your case or if indeed others have had the same issue.

So there is no way to use the clubsport pedals with the thrustmaster wheel on the ps3? I assume not but had to ask. That's the deal breaker for me at this point. I can't get over how hillbilly hee haw they look along with just being so bulky. I guess removing the diamond plating helps but they are still so bulky. Yea sometimes looks matter as much as functionalty. Lol.
 
I'm about 99% sure. You think Fanatec would figure out how to make that happen for G27 and T500 owners, sell a couple few extra sets of CSP for sure, but I guess they already have their hands full, huh?

i am very sorry if i got anyone hyped up.

got home from work just now and GF told me to cancel my frys.com order.

i had ordered it from frys.com jan 6th the second i saw the link put up in this thread.

however as you can see i have just learned that the T500 RS set sitting next to the G25 playseat screaming Install me Install me lastnight, wasn't the set i ordred... i assumed it was, but it's a set that my GF picked up driving 100miles+ roundtrip from chino hills to frys in woodland hills.

she got annoyed enought about me going on and on every day after work about how my T500 RS or the fanatec GT2 CE order was once again not shipped... she when ahead calling every frys location in reach and picked it up at frys in woodland hills without telling me.

Thinking it wouldn't be too hard to put carpet or some sort of matt over the diamond plate if it really bugs. It does look a bit tacky to me, but I would probably barely see it in my cockpit setup.

Your GF must have been "This LADY" the person at the register was telling me about. I picked up mine at about 8:45pm 1/12/11 in the Woodland Hills Fry's. The guy said some woman was just in there trying to buy an available T500 along with the one they were holding in my name. The guy didn't know what to make of it since she was already shelling out $650 for one. So if she had succeeded I would not have been too happy after driving over there.

As everyone else has mentioned, I too believe she's a :tup:keeper:tup:. She not only wanted to make you happy by driving out of the way to pick up the wheel but she also tried to buy you some insurance with a second wheel.

We've had your opinion on it. Certainly don't need reminded and the question wasn't aimed at you. Also no need for you to act so defensive or go on one of your rants again.

Some of us are interested in other owners opinions not just yours if that's ok with you
