Try turning it off completely, then the game controls the sensitivity of the steering.
Right now my steering on the game is "normal"

Still have my Traction Control off and Stability off....Found out my sensitity was on 900..bumped it back to around 140...And its a bit controlable now...Starting to enjoy actualy "fighting" with the wheel to straighten out the car

I don't think you should learn to drive with such a low sens! It'll cost you accuracy and won't teach you to countersteer properly etc. I used to do everything with 900 sens but took it down to 540, which seems to work in every type of car/driving for me. Also Sim steering and no Deadzones in the advanced settings.
It'll take a hell of a lot time, but is certainly worth it! I haven't driven with a controller at all since I finally got an Xbox compatible wheel last year. Worth every penny![]()
Instead of starting a new thread, I'll just post here.
Fanatec CSR wheel shaking w/GT5 and throttle down?
I went to play some GT5 and accidentally hit the 2 right black buttons (small and 'start' button) together instead of the 2 left buttons to go to PC mode. I saw the LCD display something like RSR/RST so I'm assuming it reset the wheel. Settings went to SEN 270 so I know it changed from my setting. Thing is when playing, whenever I'm on the throttle the wheel shakes. I tried other cars and same thing. Went to play Forza 4 and this problem isn't there.
Anyone experience this? Should I reload the latest firmware?
When you reset the wheel, the deadzone went to 0. If you set in from about 10 to 20 the shaking should stop in GT5. You can set it back to 0 for Forza. Hope this helps.
Thanks man. I don't mean the wheel shakes back and forth. I mean that the wheel shakes, like the rumble motors inside activate just by throttling. The more I throttle the more it shakes. Is this what you mean? I'll try the deadzone adjustment. I didn't change this before and didn't have this issue before which is what is strange to me.

I think he is refering to the Tuning options on the wheel itself. The ABS option simulates ABS vibration or Brake lock-ups by activating the vibration motors in the wheel and on the brake pedal (of the clubsport pedals). This works in conjunction with the shock vibration (SHO) function, which determines the amount of vibrations. What do you mean by internal setup? Is there a subset menu or something I can access?
Mines fine. That does sound interesting though. My best suggestion(unfortunatly) is contace Fanatec or Google. Yeah, I know those both suck but it's the best I could do.Just hooked my H-shifter to the CSR wheel for the first time and no mater how many times I try to calibrate (puting it in gear and hitting start button) some cars will not shift into 5th gear. I can shift it with the paddles but not the shifter..Anyone have problems like this??
BTW it will shift into 6th gear

@Tom, try updating the firmware, that should do the trick I think...
