Turbo s and Clubsports. Wasn't too pleased that my first edition RennSport stand came with no clamp for the pedals. Still working on the solution ten months later so hum!!!? Does anybody else have the Rennsport Wheel stand and can recommend the fanatec clamps? I find I use the clubsport offset for two pedal brake and gas more than I use for the clutch so was thinking of having the positions drilled into the thick aluminum base. But was also wondering if the fanatec clamps x2 would be strong enough for the offset position for two pedal operation?
You mean to tell me that I spent good money on a wheel stand and have to use a bungee cord to hold my pedals on??
I'm pretty hard on my pedals and the stopper, or whatever you call it, keeps them in place on my Rennsport wheelstand.
Well mine would slew slightly and every now and then and the pedals would drop into the gap in the middle of the stand. So you don't have that problem fine. But if anyone does, that is a cheap and easy solution. Some people order an extra clamp so I have to assume I am not the only one to come across this...
Got my wheel/pedals/stand this evening..Spent about 2 hours playing with it to realize I spent all this money to hit guard rails.....Been trying messing with setting and stuff....I know it will take time....But I cant stop fishtailing....And when I fishtail I cant get out of it....Patients
Yeah, it will take some time to get the feel for the wheel. Best thing to do is use low class cars, try to steer clear of RWD ones at the moment til you get used to the throttle. Like Wiggs said, it will take some time but well worth it.Got my wheel/pedals/stand this evening..Spent about 2 hours playing with it to realize I spent all this money to hit guard rails.....Been trying messing with setting and stuff....I know it will take time....But I cant stop fishtailing....And when I fishtail I cant get out of it....Patients
You just have to approach the game as if you never played before. Don't expect to be as fast as you were with the controller, I am now at the point where playing with a controller is beyond brutal. I refuse to race with a controller due to how touchy it feels to me.I got frustrated and turned my traction control and stability back on...Is this bad or do you think I just need to tough it out...Ill try to stick with low class cars for now...Thanx for the encouragement guys
