I reckon Mitsubishi will follow shortly thereafter.

I'm sure the Mitsubishi is coming next, everything bar the car data itself is in the game, maybe the 23rd is the reveal date of the Volkswagen and it'll come later, or Polyphony will start to double up on the releases to make up for lost time?

That sounds incredibly plausible to me on all accounts.

No matter the release order, I can't wait to see what the future VGT cars bring us! A really sporty EV from Mitsubishi (it sounds like) and a bonkers GTI from VW? All of this right after the beautiful VGT from BMW makes me really hopeful that we'll at least have 10 more VGT cars by the end of the summer.

Now the hype of VGT is back it's screwing up my game plans. Once I complete COD Ghosts on PS4 I was gonna go back to GTA 5. But now........it's probably gonna be GT6.

I'm still dying to see what Ford and Lamborghini are going to offer us! Along with Aston Martin.

I do like that BMW and the Mitsubishi and VW look quite promising. On that basis, who knows what Audi, Nissan or even Jordan will come up with!

I'm a little disappointed that the BMW VGT isn't on pace with the Mercedes VGT. The first Merc is WAAAAY faster at 600PP and the second one is closer but definitely slower. I was hoping for a bunch of VGT races this summer, but it looks like it will have to be one make races.

Hopefully the rest of the VGT's are around the same pace. I'm not looking for all of them to be on par with each other, but similar performance figures at say 600PP would be nice. The BMW and 2nd Merc are really just good 550PP cars when tuned to 600PP

Remember, VGTs are designed with each manufacturers ideas and philosophies of what they feel 'GT' should be represented as, not just as pure race cars. If they had every car being some kind of futuristic take on an older model (like the Mercedes) or some kind of throwback to their racing models of the past (like the BMW) and were designed to perform at similar levels, the project would become stale.

Gran Turismo is about loving and learning about cars as much as it is about racing them (Inb4 not a real sim hurrdurr). Vision GT is meant to be a digital take on the former point. Don't get me wrong, I can totally see your point and understand why you'd want it, but its doubtful they're all going to made around the same levels of performance. Especially the Daihatsu. :p

From NeoGAF.

"These cars have also been added:

Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 Nissan GT Academy Team RJN '13
Nissan GT-R Black edition (GT Academy 2014)
Mitsubishi XR-PHEV EVOLUTION Vision Gran Turismo"

The original XR-PHEV Concept (Tokyo 2013):

For comparison's sake this is the teaser Polyphony posted on their site a long while ago. The shape of the body and front profile seems to be similar.

My choices for most highly anticipated would have to be Ford & Diahatsu

Ford because the preview looks like an open wheel race car (Although previews don't signify anything, at least to BMW anyway.)

Daihatsu because... I don't know what to expect. Maybe a Kei car on steriods, or even a racing van? :p

It will be the next gen midget! And it will be pink!

I am genuinely interested in seeing what Daihatsu comes up with because they haven't really designed anything really wild or that stands out as far as I know. You don't associate that name with sporty the way you would Mercedes or BMW.

The only things that really come to mind as 'sporty' are the Copen and their TR-XX 4WD Kei cars - and even thats pushing it.

Guys i haven't been on this forums for a while now. Since i stop caring about gt after 5 :indiff: but anyhow i still wanna see all the concept cars :gtpflag: has the SRT car been reveal yet?

No. Only Mercedes and BMW have been released. The Mitsubishi was uncovered in the game files and VW has teased about theirs.

I highly bet it will be the OFC variant a.k.a sporty small FF kei car with 64HP. Especially since most if not all of their concept revolving on that.

Only the OFC-1 (and the Copen, on which the OFC-1 is based) is FF.
