anyway, that 240 won ETCC at its time, ahead of cars like the BMW 635, Rover, m.m.
guess thats why they included it?

Yea, the second year in the ETCC series they won, It had up to 330 hp and the weight was about 1100 kg, imagine a 240 with 330 hp!

i've been trying to win the gran turismo world championships so i haven't tinkered with the volvo much

the audi R8 LM keeps owning me by a good 1-2min/race

Yea , I've got X-Port so I can do hybrids to. I wanna change just the engine, nothing else like the charger 426 hemi engine

Naah.. I'll do the Viper swap !... No turbo, no supercharger - just 8 liter of V10 heaven.. In a Volvo

And with the 240, there will be no "shoehorning"... You can probably just dump the engine into the bay...

As a Volvo nerd i wanna chime in (First post too.)
The 850 never came with AWD it has always been FF.
THe V70, OTOH, was and IS available in an XC or R config with AWD.

My 850R, with a chip and a euro spec turbo would be nice in GT4.......

There is an 850 awd. Probably not where you live but it was sold in several markets.

There is currently no Volvo other than the S60R and V70R that has 300 hp. The one you're referring to is the Volvo 850 T5 which has an inline 5cylinder turbocharged engine with 268 horsepower and it does come with AWD.
